Isaak's version is a phenomenal song and one that defines the 80s. It's hard to say its better or worse than this cover though. Yes it's the same lyrics, but the songs are so different. Completely different genres. This is a great cover and he did an outstanding job of transcending the original love song into an acoustic guitar jam session. The fact that some people out hear didn't even know this was an 80s song......um.......W....T....F
