+Rock Guitar I like PP- TAhink he preformed volcano such that he claimed it - his style, delivery , music , tone, etc, litreally to me is better than the original writer /singer- in the air is a classic and some classics just are not touchable- i simply prefer the original songwriter's version , dliver, passion, tone-comp- the placement of of varied musical notes., style ,tone that Phil collins does is unmatched- the .mystery of music w/ the lyrics mesh, crescendos , drums, voice caresses / releases just right -all give that feeling deep down of truly feeling IT COMING IN T A 2NITE- Sorry PP it just isn't a sog to be strained , strained and arid- still enjoy you tho-

Man he's over doing everything. Really gone off the deep end since Idol. Something like Wicked Game would have been incredible like his performance of The Stone, but his tune is just all out of whack. I miss the gruffness in his voice.

this is horrible. phillip phillips is the man but i think he's taking too much advice from people that aren't his style. he has no passion in this video. if you remember his original version from American Idol he blew people off their feet, took the wind out of you. he sung it with his inner soul, with passion and for his life. you can tell his rough draft songs are always his best. this video of him singing this song is a disgrace to his actual potential. and what pisses me off is the lame guitarist. he sucks more than anything, it seems like he's trying to pull away from phillips talent and draw his own attention. his rip doesn't even go with phillips style. that guitarist is garbage. phillip needs to quit listening to all the critics and just sing for his life like he did on American Idol.

Not digging this rendition at all, melody was all over the place. Seems he's trying too hard but headed the wrong way. I'd much prefer Phil Collins' original version. Props to the other other guitarist though.
