Well done Anthony, that was a long day. Shame about the lack of views for you as there are some spectacular ones on that section. I remember the roller coaster well when on the C2C and so do my knees. 😂 Being offered to cook your own breakfast is a first! Look forward to your story in tomorrow’s vlog.

Thanks Tony. It’s a very tough day isn’t it? Some of those descents are hard work! Yes, I was a bit surprised when the YHA offered me a full English providing I cooked it myself. I should have charged back my time 😂

You basically walked a marathon in one day except most of it was up and downhill. That takes some doing, I'm not surprised it took its toll on your knees. Shame it didn't brighten up for you to get those views but arriving at your destination in one piece is the main thing. You've done marvellous so far. Keep it up and i hope your energy levels stay steady. Hope today went well 😊

Thanks Nigel. I’m glad I’ve already seen those views during the 2020 walk. I’d have been very disappointed had it been my first time up there with zero views. It’s a lot of effort for no reward!

I just ignore the haters. I'm 62 and had three gang up on me for some reason. Bombarding me with negative comments so I blocked them. But I suppose any interaction on KZbin is a positive reaction. But it was getting me down. Another great day, albeit misty. Pity about the taxi. I've seen people hike supported and just had a day bag. A hike is a hike. However, you do it. Great series. Thanks for sharing.
