Couldn't agree more Anthony, every walk, no matter how you decide to walk it is about the experience. I've completed a few long-distance trails, I did the entire Pennine Way staying in BnBs and youth hostels, on other walks I've stayed on camp sites, and each walk contains special memories for me. Personally, there is nothing like staying in a nice, clean room after a long day on the trail, warm shower, comfortable bed, good food. Enjoy the rest of your adventure, it's enjoyable to watch.

Thanks Maurice. It’s definitely all about the adventure, whichever way we all choose to do it. If we could guarantee the weather then I’d definitely be more open to the camping route. After a long day of walking in the rain, a warm shower and bed is definitely my preference!

So glad that the weather perked up for you. I love the way you say, a short walk today only fifteen miles. I'd be dead on my feet. As for the trolls. It's a hard walk and anyone with intelligence will try and make it as easy as possible. It's a no brainer to lighten the load and stay in places along the way. My friend walked Offahs Dyke doing the same as you along the way. It's called having a brain. I think you are doing great and taking everything in your stride. Hope today went well and the weather keeps up for you. You're doing great 😊

Hi Kelly. Yes, it’s strange seeing a 15 mile walk as a short walk when it’s anything but. It will seem strange going back to a more traditional day walk distance when this is over.

Better weather today Anthony and a little easier on the legs. I think of us that are content makers have had negative comments at some point. Although it’s a cliché everyone should “hike their own hike” it’s doesn’t matter whether you do small or big mileage or if you prefer to carry your gear or stay in accommodation, it’s all about being outdoors doing something you enjoy. Everyone has their own reasons for doing a long distance hike that are personal the them. The diversity that hiking offers is something to celebrate and makes it more accessible for a wider group of people, even if it’s only a small walk in the woods or around your local park. You’re out there doing it, so well done you. Looking forward to the coastal section.

Very well said Tony. Hike your own hike is definitely one of the better cliches out there.

I think I must have used all my luck up with the weather when I did the Pennine Way. I’ve had another day of zero visibility today!
