--------
1090 Jake delved into the psyche of convicted murderers in prison, emphasizing the scarcity of genuine remorse among inmates. When asked by Vlad about the prevalence of remorse, Jake asserted that prisoners rarely show regret due to the harsh environment that stigmatizes any display of weakness. He highlighted that even those who might regret their actions can't afford to show it openly as it risks exploitation. Jake observed that many inmates struggle with inner turmoil, which often manifests as further violence since they lack proper channels for emotional expression.

Roger and Zap were managed/discovered by Norby Walters, who Michael Franzese snitched on when Norby was a sports agent after his career in music management. Franzese threw Norby under the bus during his snitch campaign. Heard all about it out of Norby's mouth. Tried to get them together before he passed but Michael wouldn't do it.
@citypopradioFM
@citypopradioFM 2 ай бұрын
Not surprised that Michael wouldn't want to go there since it'd crumble his tired narrative that he's totally not a snitch because nobody went to jail because of him which is bogus. He got on the stand as a government witness against Norby in court, as you know, Norby was convicted, but he ducked time from a successful appeal... and Michael would have nothing to do with his sentencing if he did his job to convict him for the feds. You'd think if Michael was on the up and up that he'd want to participate in a discussion with Norby to back up his story, but clearly he'd never go there and Norby has since passed away. If you left that life and ratted to walk away in one piece, it is what it is, and it's beyond irksome to hear these guys like Michael spin their cooperation with these acrobatic technicalities and woe is me explanations. We know he snitched, his 302 cooperation agreement with the feds is online, he got on the stand against Norby, he got on another stand in a separate case against someone, and he went to Congress to testify about boxing and named names of guys which obviously put heat on them. Michael is a fraud and a grifter.
@pollyanna147
@pollyanna147 2 ай бұрын
@@citypopradioFM Exactly. It could have been a great conversation but it would totally contradict Michael's spin on things, which is why he passed on meeting up. Even when Michael was in LA, he wouldn't meet up with Norby in Burbank to talk off camera

Tf. That’s the dumbest sht I ever heard. Life is all about being real. If you feel guilty about something you done did, if you’re a strong person, you’ll keep it real about feeling guilty. If you’re weak, you’ll try to hide your guilt. If you feel like you made a mistake, of course you should feel guilty about it. Me personally, I always keep it real, always. If someone gets it twisted and thinks I’m weak, I invite them to try me.

I'm pretty sure most dudes who've sat in prison for a long time for a body are openly regretful about their past actions to wind up in there. They usually got caught up in a situation or lifestyle, someone got murdered, and they regret the choices and path they traversed once they get older with time under their belt. That isn't weakness, that's just keeping it real, and dudes who did something stupid in their youth, who are 40 or 50-years-old or beyond now, probably do lament that they should've moved smarter and went a better way in life than stuck as an inmate forever.
