Haha tony is a very honest and straight forward guy that some have a hard time with lol trust me I know...I worked in nascar for years and just retired in 17... Jr left and I thought it was a good time for me too. Most of the drivers are super great people and yes so is Kyle... A lot of what goes on is way different on tv vs being there and seeing it.i know these guys can piss people off by their racing but try to understand what it's like to be a person that can't stand loosing...they are all the same but yes some handle it better then others... Racing is everything to these guys and they know nothing else for the most part. They've been apart of it while still in diapers..... It's really hard for these guys to hang it up.. They feel like they are giving there life away and it scares the shit outa them... It's hard to understand if you can't walk a mile in their shoes.

I've gone snowmobiling with Tony and he's so fun when you get home your gut hurts from all the laughter...I miss those guys and it's hard for me to get ahold of them now that I'm out. I retired back to the family ranch in Idaho and I'm loving it but I miss the good old days really bad..but hey I'm 50 now and old news lol...that's nascar lol.

Clint is a super cool down to earth guy for sure. I worked in nascar for years and still talk to Clint and other drivers often on the phone. Clint is one of the coolest dudes you'll ever meet.. Totally down to earth invite you over to chill in his race shop and drink beer and bullshit about the good ol days til 3am. Hell of a hang over I had the next morning.. I've done the same with Jr. as well at his place sitting at whiskey river.. These guys are some of the coolest guys you'll ever meet! They were brought up on corn bread and whiskey types and don't have an Arrogant bone in their bodies...I can feel free to talk now that I retired in 17. I love reading the comments to see people's perspectives.

I retired from nascar in 17 worked in the sport for more than 20 years and soooo many people loved him he was a wonderful man! I love looking through videos and reading comments...things I never had time to do before... I love all the race fans and I'll miss the sport so much and thank you for your thoughts... Steve was and still is so very loved.
