I really enjoy this guy racing in America ! Such a great attitude and talent ! That being said most of his fans are really over the top slamming most of the Nascar stars as some kind of hillbilly racers ..! There must be something in the water because yesterday some dude contacted me about how much he hates KYLE LARSON and hopes SVG MOPS THE FLOOR WITH LARSON in the next road course ? NOT SURE WHY HE CHOSE LARSON BUT….ANYWAYS SVG came here just in perfect time for several added road course races to the schedule and this will really help his points battle since his all out specialty is road racing !!! Ovals are a problem to all foreigners, but he’s doing great…! So don’t trash me KIWI’S ..LOL…😂🇺🇸🏁

Might be impressive tech, but Shane's living proof that you don't need all that tech to be a great driver! Sure, it might help a driver learn a track and a car a little faster, but in the end, you need a good driver and a good car. Same as always.

SHANE'S lived a privileged upbringing. He went to St. Kentigern College (high school) in New Zealand, which is the best private highschool there (and costs a leg and arm). Glad to see him doing well.

@@_whyte.woods_1256true.. but the major difference now is that the cars are alot more alike so going from supercars to NASCAR is not such a foreign feeling. Giz having to be in XFINITY now is the biggest hurdle because they are still the older style car setup

@@GDA_Sam Yeah, that's certainly true about Cup being more similar now. Pretty sure Super cars are solid axle though. But ovals are a different breed. You really need to feel comfortable throwing the car into that turn.

In a word,NO but it can help you get close what you need to do Bathurst for instance had cars running 5-7 seconds faster in race conditions than real life,part of that is not needing to fear for your life im sure

It's not the tech it's the money a mid-level nascar team is about $15 million per year which is about $23 million here and a super car is $3 to $5 million
