Mold is not normal. You were fed a line. The ventilation system in the house is inadequate or the wall/ ceiling insulation was not what it should be. You shouldn't have to open windows to prevent mold.

Happy new year! Lovely home, looking more and more like you! Agree with some comments, don’t think that mold is “normal”. Specially with your climate. How are you supposed to leave everything open to air out in freezing temperatures?

I agree with the other comment about the mold. I would get a second opinion - mold is never okay and should not be okay with a new build. Maybe it is contributing to your husbands health. Thanks for the update . . . sorry your Hubby has been ill, hope he's better soon. Love those big doors!! And, I agree with several others, mold in a new house is NOT okay. Watch closely to see if it comes back . . . especially in your studio where you'll spend so much time. That is worrisome. -- I think we are all as eager to see your studio as you are to have it done! :)

Houseplants R beautiful, watch carefully for insects and each requires its own need 4 watering. Succulents R wonderful Hhouseplants with all that sunshine in the front room...easy propagation keeps U enjoying the new growth. Looking forward 2 yr studio projects. You tube "shorts" ? Would keeps us up-to-date. Thanks for the tour.
