The trick is with the bose surrounds just the rears if you take 2 microfiber towels the thin ones wrap the rears lightly one on the left and one on the right recalibrate the system upon doing that it will force the system a little more to the rears after calibration the rears got a little more louder it worked for me, try it and see what happens.

The rear speakers aren't supposed to be super loud, they add side and back effects to movies, not all the sound, I only have mine at level 50 and they work perfectly, and I have them mounted up high 7-8 feet

From my end the Bose sounds more refined the bass super clean and tight. While the elevate is just plain loud it sounds warm dynamics have a loud punch. The Vizio is just a damn good deal tho

I know this is old but i just picked up the vizio at $400 from a best buy. Thought that was a hell of a deal.

Thank you for this comparison. I'd go with the Bose 900 every day of the week. To me it sounds much more detailed and refined. I do like the Sub of the Elevate and its thumpy nature. To me the Elevate is the way better deal, but not the better soundbar overall. Still both great products.

As an owner of the vizio elevate, and with a friend that has a 900 setup with the better surrounds, I will say the vizio elevate if you don't eq it immediately out of the box it sounds flat and the bass is too muddy. The bose is an overall better experience, but I wouldn't say it's $1000 better experience. Especially for smaller living spaces, where for $2000 you could just get an actual Home Theater Setup.

I bought the Bose SB900 and exchanged it for the Sonos Arc after 1 week, much better sound quality. The Bose sounds a bit nasal to me and less bass. The Sonos sounds more natural and more dynamic. Also the center channel are more natural with the Sonos Arc. I couldn't be happier👌😍

I’m the opposite. I bought both and compared them for a few hours. I returned the sonos. The Bose easily sounds better. Both good brands tho. The Sonia had more bass but I didn’t care about that cause I was buying the bass module with whichever I was going to keep.

The Bose 900 sounds better without a sub than the Vizio does with a sub. That's just crazy how hollow a bar can sound with 18 drivers in it.

Most KZbinrs, just buy it, unbox and review, and return. As long as you don't fuck up the box or the product the only thing you have to lose is your dignity after walking back in to best buy to return mountains of sound/tech equipment lol

Bose is the better buy if you have the money 💰. Vizio to me is not good with all types of music and movies and TV like the bose. I own the bose 700 and have tried out the vizo. The Vizio always makes products bass heavy and no clarity. Your not just paying for sound quality but build quality and technical support which I trust bose for way more than Vizio. You get what you pay for. People need to get over price. Cheap ain't always the best.

i listened like 4x and the bose is clearer..and the module had a very nice punch but the base from the vizio was punchier! the sound design in destiny is mediocre imo cod is much better
