I have that mouse, it's really only useful if you use horizontal scrolls on certain applications or small windows that need to be scrolled to see all the contents. Otherwise you really don't need it.

My arthritis says a more ergonomic mouse is cheaper than spending money in uncomfortable cheap mice in the long term :). I used to use a cheap mouse since I was a kid and caused it making it much more painful overtime. Once I got the mx ergo I had less pain, getting slowly better and no pain when doing my job.
