There is a wonderful version of this on the live DVD, I saw that tour live...the one with the giant reel to reel tape recorder on stage.. and it was often thought they were simply not playing live because the performance was so note perfect.

I think lyrically youre spot on in its message that it basically says..look? By living in a bubble and doing stuff escaping reality youre missing out. Theres nothing dividing us in what we are.. we're not different and if we all sung the same song in harmony what benefits that would bring?? As I said love and peace...but this is one of my chill out tunes where I can just sit back and lose myself in it just musically and the more you listen to it and discect it the more brilliant it becomes 👍

Tbh Ive never really figured it out lyric wise apart from its love and peace..but production wise its quite epic and that outro just warms my soul 😁 it just feels so big for 10cc. Theyve thrown the musical kitchen sink at it 😁
