@@joevtfishing it’s in Cape May, NJ at Utschs Marina. It has twin Caterpillar 3208 375 HP. Diesel’s. My Dad & my 2 brothers & I own it. Great trolling boat. We had a 1979 23 foot Mako with a 350 HP gas inboard that we put a tuna tower on & fished offshore with before we bought the Blackfin in 1989. We have been fishing offshore & inshore out CM NJ for 45 years now. We catch lots of Yellowfin & Bluefin Tuna, Wahoo, king Mackerel, Sharks, Stripers, Fluke,Seabass, etc. We fish for everything, can’t get enough of it! Our Bluefin run is in late June thru early July, then again in mid to late October, no giants tho unfortunately, I can only dream of catching a 10 footer, fish of a lifetime! Congrats again! Love your channel, you work your tail off & fish hard man, I respect that & I know it isn’t easy, it’s why you catch fish!!

@@deebop4904 I agree. Our 1988 32 Blackfin with 100% mechanical , 100% steel , twin 375 HP 3208 Caterpillar T/As cruises at 24 knots at 2,350; & it rides equally well in head & following seas. Great for going to the canyons to troll & get back safely & comfortably in most sea conditions. We have 2,600 hours on the engines & except to get at least 4,000. We only replaced the turbos once & do all the maintenance ourselves. The boat has been paid off for 20 plus years too. Just pay for the marina, maintenance, fuel, equipment & bait.

Nice Tuna. As a charter operator off the south shore of Nova Scotia, that’s a even a good fish here, where we get world record class monsters. My dad was fishing his charter a couple of miles from Ken Fraser when he hooked the 1496lb record in 1979, and made it to them in time to assist with the loading after they finally speared it. And 1496lb is with guts removed. The fish was probably 1525+. They were lucky my fathers trawling crane was still on his boat, made loading it easy apparently. Been running my own charter since the summer I turned 18. Now I run 6 boats and 16 employees who have high paying (but dangerous) jobs. Between Striper, Bluefin, Blue Shark, sailfish when possible, and yellowfin Im booked a year in advance and could get more if I had reliable captains and mates to do the job. Unfortunately only one bluefin licence by law, so only my boat can fish that, but it’s still 4”350$/head with two charters per day on the other boats. Bluefin is one per day, but much more expensive.

Happy 29th Birthday, Joe!!! Now, talk about a Christmas and Birthday Prezzie rolled into one!!!! That is one GIGANTIC MAMMA JAMMA FLIPPIN' TUNA!!!! Congratulations to You and the Whole Boat, very, very well done!!! I don't know how the pay out for a Tuna that size works and I'm not gonna ask, cause no matter what it is , you can't harvest an animal like that and not just be in awe of the reverence it demands. Eventually it'll be a $25.00 seared starter plate, but for that moment it's just a Magnificent Fish!!! Man, I totally get the loosing it a bit after the fish was secured and don't feel bad. The first Moose that I harvested by Bow and Arrow the Bull was 10ft. from me when I let the arrow go, and he only flinched and walked a few steps and stood there until he had lost so much blood he just fell over. I cried for an hour before I called the guys to come help with it. Joe, I know we have never met, but I shall raise a glass to You tonight for your Birthday and your continued success, once again, Congratulations!!! _ Dave (of the Great White North)
