I am an average everyday Canadian just like you. For so long I trusted others to manage my investments and invested in mural funds. It took me a long time to realize this was not the best way to grow our money.
My goal is to maximize my returns and enjoy the fruits of my labour when I retire.
I have a full time job and manage an investment profile in my spare time. As you will see, it is growing each month.

Nice job, WS is a great platform to use, i invested into their private credit this year too. Im just under you but should cross 200K before the end of this year, currently at about 16K per year in dividends/distributions!

@@THECRAZYCANUCKINVESTOR-od4gv check out some high yielding funds like the private credit, covered call funds like Hamilton, Horizons and Income funds like Canoe EIT. These are really only good if you’re an income focused investor though, as you will typically sacrifice long term total gains for higher dividends.

I do hold EIT in my RRSP. I also have HYLD and QQQY. I have seen the benefits of income when you need to rely on the cash flow in retirement. But I have about 9 years before I retire, so I am going for more growth.
