Although not considered a canon bossfight due to it taking place in the What-If scenario, where Shaqiroth wasn't beaten in the final fight of Kingdom Hoops VII, it's said to be the hardest bossfight in the franchise as of now. The bossfight takes the most preparation of all the others due to its chaotic nature and uses many game mechanics in a final test of skill. The bossfight consists of 9 bosses with chaotic attack patterns plus a few set attacks. All of the alternate Sephiroths can use regular slashes, weaker variations of Shadowflare and Gigaflare, aswell as Meteor. If you don't finish off atleast one version of Sephiroth before their 3rd turn cycle the 9 variations of "Meteor" are launched at once for a guaranteed OHKO. All variations of meteor grant different status effects. During the bossfight, Shaqiroth is shielded by a barrier in the middle of the arena, sitting on his throne. For every Sephiroth you beat, a portion of the arena breaks down, leaving only a few platforms to travel between which are a risky choice of transportation with the amount of projectiles that are fired. After 8 of the Sephiroths have been defeated only the middle of the Collosseum will remain for one final battle. It is highly recommended to finish off Spongeroth first, because his attacks are weaker than the others. Spongeroth does deal alot of damage in a single hit, but he has to predict your attacks, so you won't suffer from a low healthbar going nuts on him. If Sephikong uses Coconut-Gun Barrage first, it's better to focus on Souljaroth, because he won't attack until the third attack from Sephikong and therefore allows for free phases, however this strat requires you to pay attention to the Coconut-Gun Barrage since getting caught up in a barrage will cost you alot of health, potentially killing your run if you came underprepared. If you want absolute certainty for your survival, going to the last shop before the boss is highly recommended. You should take atleast 20 Ripe Banana's for health recovery and three Basket Balls to increase your speed and damage output for the fight.It's also recommended to take Morshu's Suspicious Pills with you to counter the status effects of the meteors. This will require you to grind alot of Hoops pre-fight, but it'll be worth the reward. After beating a Sephiroth variant of any choice, they'll use their Meteor again. With atleast one of them down you will always survive the hit, and you'll get a bit of a grace period to recover from the hits. You'll be hit by multiple status effects, which can be cured with Morshu's Suspicious Pills. If Sephikong reaches half of his max health, he will use "Cranky Kong Showdown." Like last time, Cranky Kong Showdown features Cranky Kong in his chair, flying in the air and spinning while firing Coconut-Guns. Finishing off the attack, Cranky will fire a laser that takes 5 seconds to fire. Cranky Kong will lock his eyes onto you for the full 5 seconds, followed by a flash taking half a second before finally firing the laser. The laser can only be dodged from the sides, as the laser is as long as the radius of the arena and "slashes" downwards from higher up, which means you can't jump over it. After Cranky Kong Showdown, Sephikong will attack more frequently. If he's hit to his last 10% health before 5 attack cycles have passed, he'll escape through a portal and resides behind Shaqiroth behind the barrier. *This is not a recommended strategy,* due to Sephikong firing his Coconut-Guns at any Slam-Jams used by Shaqiroth, strengthening the attacks and speeding the balls up by alot, hindering the other fights if not taken into account. If Sephikong doesn't use Cranky Kong Showdown before 5 attack cycles pass, Psyphiroth will use "Dance-Op" which is also from his respective previous bossfight. He'll start dancing which if not countered by using your Dance attacks, will start dealing more and more damage to you. Sussyroth will assist Psyphiroth by attempting to stab you in the back with his blade. This isn't a huge problem, as you can hit the blade with the Fighter's Dance Style that features punches and kicks, which also deals massive damage to Psyphiroth resulting in two easy kills if you pull it off. Assuming everything went according to the second scenario, you'll have defeated Spongeroth, Psyphiroth and Sussyroth before the second meteor. This only leaves the original Sephiroth, , Morshuroth, Souljaroth, Gaijinroth, Sephikong and Shaqiroth. Morshuroth might use his "Bribe," offering Hoops but accepting the bribe will be followed by a barrage of attacks. Morshuroth can also use "Ripped off!" which heals him by 15% health. He's not a huge threat as he mainly heals himself and when defeated once again escapes into a pocket dimension. He'll leave various items on defeat which increase for every Sephiroth defeated before him, therefore it's recommended to only defeat him after defeating Spongeroth, Psyphiroth and Sussyroth during their unique attacks. Souljaroth uses the Dance Mechanic aswell, therefore we recommend you to use either the Singer's Grace Dance Style or the Fighter's Dance Style. It's generally the same as Psyphiroth's Dance-Op but with a different attack pattern, and instead of Sussyroth helping, Sephikong will fire his Coconut-Gun at you, which you can break the bullets of if you use a Dance Style, dealing critical damage to Souljaroth in the process. Gaijinroth uses his blade to charge at you if you don't use dance styles to battle, and once Souljaroth is defeated becomes an easy kill as he's terrible at close range, having only 45% accuracy on his blade swings. However, his blade hits will deal alot of damage, so it's recommended you dodge nontheless. If you hadn't beaten him yet, you'll have to beat Sephikong before the second phase of the fight. After you've beaten the Alter-Sephiroths, a cutscene starts: The original Sephiroth Descends from the upper floors of the arena as the other variants of Sephiroth flee from the battlefield through portals opened by Shaqiroth. "So you've beaten many variations of me, I applaud you. I am the real deal, however. Will you keep standing and prevail against me, even after the many battles you've gone through only a little while ago? I'll show you what true dispair looks like." Shaqiroth and Sephikong perform a ritual, and Sephiroth gets cloned with the sacred mirror arts. Sephiroth is capable of using Octaslash, Shadowflare, megaflare and gigaflare as his special attacks, next to his regular attack, which are just slashes with his Masamune. The true Sephiroth has 2 times the health of Mirror-Sephiroth, but finishing off the real one before the mirror variation kills the mirror clone aswell. Once the real Sephiroth has been defeated, the Collosseum breaks down. A survival phase happens, as for a full minute Sephikong provides a last line of defense for Shaqiroth. Sephikong uses Banana Slamnova, which launches 5 huge attacks at you. If you manage to survive the hits (by blocking with good timing, or taking the hit and surviving) you get to finish off Sephikong. After you finish off Sephikong, Shaqiroth breaks down his barrier. As he sends Sephikong through a portal, another cutscene follows. "I congratulate you for coming this far, defeating every Alter Sephiroth and even the original. You singlehandedly wiped out my army. However, this is not the end. You may have crushed my army, but my goal of ruling the Space Jam Franchise hasn't ended just yet. You made a grave mistake opposing me, and I'll show you what happens to those who choose the wrong side!" The cutscene ends with Shaqiroth opening a new portal leading to a grand cathedral. Shaqiroth can use multiple attacks from the previous Sephiroths, being able to use full copies of the real Sephiroth's special attacks, aswell as a variant of Cranky Kong Showdown, instead being renamed to "Cranky Kong's will" featuring a ghost of Cranky using lasers to block off certain parts of the stage reducing the space you have. He can also use Banana Slamma Revised, Last Op, Souljabeam Breakdance, True Preparation, Scam Artist, Suspicious Doppelgänger and his signature special attack: Slamnova of a thousand slams. He'll use Slam-Jam as his regular attack. He has alot of health and is very aggressive, doesn't heal and frequently throws basket balls around the cathedral. Once he's at 25% health, he'll use Final Dunkin', and at 5% health the fight ends. "I see, so that's why my army failed. You're too strong.. This is not the end of me. By sending back the Alter-Sephiroths you beat up, I've prevented reality from falling apart. I will come back with even more Alter-Sephiroths, so you better prepare for when the time comes. I WILL claim the Space Jam Franchise for myself, and you cannot stop me!" You are rewarded with a golden basket ball at the end of the battle, serving as a trophy, granting an achievement and a strong weapon to do the re-match with. If you triggered Cranky Kong Showdown in the fight, you also earn a Coconut-Gun, which is a ranged weapon that rapidly fires and serves as the highest damaging weapon in the game, at the cost of having weak blocks. ​@@arwinado Yeah I forgot to paste his portion into the script, can't edit the original comment anymore so I'll put it here: Sesiraar is a unique portion of the bossfight, not always being present. He occasionally enters the arena while you are fighting another Alter-Sephiroth, and he'll definitely be a fairly tough obstacle. Sesiraar prefers ranged attacks and getting close to him makes him strike you with alot of force, having 95% accuracy (The highest accuracy regular attack in the game!) and breaking through shields. If he happens to appear whilst fighting Souljaroth or Psyphiroth, it's best to keep him distanced as you won't be able to block his regular melee attack using the Dance mechanics. In the unfortunate scenario that this happens, it's best to finish off the other Alter-Sephiroth you're fighting and then going after Sesiraar. Although not having unique attacks, Sesiraar has corrupted versions of the original Sephiroth's attacks and are stronger than most of the other Alter-Sephiroths. His meteor is the only one that causes the "Corruption" status effect, which glitches out some of your values and your items temporarily, so it might be hard to cure yourself. This plus some others i added to the original script would've made 1725 words or 10280 individual characters in total.
