It always amazes me how much it spreads out between the 5K and 10K! I love the 5K races, but they get so crowded! This looked like the perfect amount of spacing when you were running. It makes for a better run! Congrats again Jen!

I totally agree, but it also depends where you start. The difference in my experience between the D corral and starting in B makes a world of difference in terms of space especially in the second half of the races

Wow, it looked humid out there....lots of others were sweating. Keep hydrated hun, especially before you fly. Don't worry about asking others to move on the flight....they wouldn't hesitate to do the same to you. Can't wait for the half marathon video. xoxo 💜

They made a slight change on the "squeezeway" by bringing us up onto the service road alongside Boardwalk vs keeping us on the actual waterside path the whole time and it made a big difference! The Sunrise was breathtaking that morning too. I was coming up the on ramp just before the 5k overpass and got a beautiful photo.

Yay Jen! Question: could you give a quick tutorial on how you prep your feet? You don’t have to actually show, just describe. And do you struggle staying asleep after going to bed that early since most other hotel guests ate still up and about? Any tips/tricks? Thanks 🎉

For races I just use the body glide all over each foot then put on socks and shoes and go 🏃‍♀️ Also, I’m usually so tired at least by the second night that I have no issue falling asleep. But maybe try a guided sleep meditation or sound machine to help on your room?

I think it’s common here in the states to go by miles. I know I’m not alone in keeping track of training and race mileage in this way too.
