I binge watched ur videos to learn something and hope that I get another betta fish somday. This is my 2nd time getting a fish and it is a betta fish. I liked the yellow fish more than the last one, but that is how bettas go. One person likes one, another person likes a different one. What was your interest in the one you got though? What made it more desirable than the first one for example?

it’s definitely subjective! i liked the unique white rim , dumbo ears, and purple spots mostly. see a lot of koi’s these days but the koi was gorgeous regardless

one cousin of mines was a neewbie for fish and bettas and he called me his betta trainer because of how much i help him and i was the one that told him to order a betta fish from a very respectful and trusted breeder he order a cheap one that was one colored plakat and he end up reviving a little galaxy, koy plakat idk what happened there but i texted him that he probably send the wrong one and he end up saying to stay with it that it wasn’t a big deal. I end up “borrowing” the betta for a breding project i couldn’t hold it he was so beautiful the colors where so equally distributed that after a lot of beggin he let me borrow it and breed it end up having a bunch of his kids (he was the male and i put a rainbow female plakat as the mom) the babys came up so diverce and some had more of the dad colors but the combination where so pretty I as a gift end up building him a big 100 gallon aquarium that was incrusted on his wall that became the sorority he has know with around 10 females of that same breeding and like 5 other females of different colors
