I feel like a flashlight might not be the best metaphor because you can't send something like "on, on, on" because you have to turn the flashlight to the off position to turn it on again - thus the series will always be "on, off, on, off, on" etc...

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. (Jn.1:1-3) 9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. (Jn.1:9-14)

that's what i thought also , 8 to the power of 2!
@haydenscholze74524 жыл бұрын
No bro I was also confused but a way to understand it is that 2 states are the basic foundation and we just allow it in 8 slots thus allowing the each individual slot to be ether 0 or 1 and and up all the slots different number it can make(possibilities)2^8 we get a possibility of 256 different numbers as we can only use 0 and 1 thus can’t have numbers like 00000002.

Let me start by saying that I'm a single woman, and I got scammed by cryptocurrencies about a year ago, and I've since learned that many of them are mouse platforms. That means that these platforms make money early, and they only catch the last ones, so I call them rat platforms. That's when I started looking for platforms to make money from the rats, and I started my own team. I made $90,000 in just this one month. So I think if you're on your own, don't go blindly into this kind of platform, because if you don't have a team to help you, you don't know if you're the mouse.

So: A BIT is a binary fact between two values: these values are either one or zero (layman's term). Okay, I'm not here to explain why, but know eight bits per byte (as a kid, I thought it was two) is good. So, a Playstation was 64 bytes; now this isn't it's capabilities (as we see with Chrono Cross) of a potential 64 is better or worse? But the Saturn came out and rivaled all arcade systems. Sega broke that market. PS2 was riding on a broken system TRYING to get it right. They did, and had the publishers to prove it. End Sega; End Nintendo (oh, wait, no), End Microsoft..nope. Sony never, ever touched Halo or Gears. Back to facts: The bits make a difference: Look at Castlevania 1 via 3. On the same system. Then look at Metroid 1 on the NES and the SNES for the 3rd. Need I say more? The original Final Fantasy was on the NES, but did you know the first THREE were for the NES? The second one offered diverse mechanics to explore, but the third offered us JOB CLASSES. On the NES. Seriously? Outside of exploits, this was the fact of games back in the 8-bit days. Nothing did like this; today we're bandits expecting a heist, only to get a pop in the process.
