I've learned to value the knowledge of Eddie Bravo, and what he does for combat, especially submission/grappling, competition. I went from, a decade or more ago, having the outlook of a total casual. Seeing Eddie as the sidekick of Joe Rogan. I have increasingly garnered more respect and appreciation for what he brings to the table, in that time. Totally agree with your assessment.

Good afternoon Eddie my name is Sam and I was wondering of you were intrested in opening a gym in Richmond VA. I love all of your videos and i think the gym would do very well. I am in the service (Marines) and love jiu jitsu, but there are no 10th planet gyms near me. There are so many vets that would love to join. Many of friends would. EBI is one of my favorite tournaments. Your style of Jiu Jitsu is no where around me and I would love to learn more. More than just watching all of the videos you post and stream haha. Thanks Eddie Also can alot of people like this so Eddie See's it haha. Thanks guys!

Touch rugby makes rugby and rugby league playable for the masses. I know. I play touch rugby. I submit that with quintet stuff like this, we're seeing the genesis and first days of a new approach to martial arts that the masses truly CAN participate in. It's that similar to touch rugby and sevens rugby; a refinement of an entry level doorway that is accessible to many but still able to be contested at a high level. This is groundbreaking stuff.

@@oksanagilroy1950 who lacks control? Danaher is all about that. Eddie's rubber guard has things like mission CONTROL, crackhead CONTROL and more. That first fight was interesting. The gentleman that was on his back a majority of the bout had very good skill and defense, he was just being totally overpowered. I thought it was impressive how he kept himself, for the most part, out of danger and even managed some decent attempts, from his back and from purely defensive positions, despite seemingly being outmatched in power and strength.

Just wondering what’s the average belt standard for the competitors here? Are most of them black /high level brown?

I am mostly a gi guy. What I find surprising is how easily they pass each others guards. Perhaps 10th planet work more on escapes and submission defense. So a guard pass isn't as big a deal.

If I met Eddie Bravo in person I would probably get emotional. Eddie you are the best. Just not at knee bars lol

Probably the most disappointing call for a tap at 1:06:00 I've seen, and I was the one on the wrong end of it. It was impossible to escape that knee bar when he got to start with it full extended. Good job brandon, I'll be back for you

Did you tap? It looks like you didn't ? Looks like you let him beat you after that call for a tap?

@@adamsmithintin2803 being stopped and forced to reset with my leg completely extended where he had the best grip...its like starting in a fully extended armbar. I havent ever seen another situation where the person going for a sub got to reset with it fully extended. Just sayin

@@adamsmithintin2803 but, initially, no I did not tap. There was no up and down motion. One down motion, that I didnt even finish with contact. Even if I did, one smack isnt tapping out. I dont wanna complain about it anymore though, the kid I fought is a stud, just makes me wanna beat everybody that much more.

Nova 1 yeah that's what I thought happened. You were probably being too nice, shouldn't of let him restart with it extended. Most people would have complained. Maybe something to consider for the future. Anyway you looked decent good luck in the future.

I cannot make sense of Alex Magals funky leg style he uses in this one. Im a lowly white belt but still, how is he making that work?

Looks like fun but I can't get used to inverted and side attacks where a guy would get kicked in the head in a fight. It looks so weird to me but I know that is bjj now.
