That oiler reminds me that I had an old Cincinnati #3 horizontal that I put an Automotive type metal drip pan between the mill and the concrete when I set it in place so that all the lube oil could be cleaned up before it soaked in the concrete. 😄 I do think that lazy people come up with the best labor saving ideas!

@@ogaugeclockwork4407 it’s basically a sight glass all of the oiling tubes (there are 4) go up the tower and drip to corresponding tubes out to show you the oil is moving in all the tubes when the pump is on. It’s used instead of putting multiple sight glasses at multiple points of the machine.

Jesus Don you got a ausome shop I'm gona have one like that before I die ! AZ for them shur shot cans you have with out a word of lie I was thinking of the very same when the video I was watching just before you where dismantlingwhat looked like a slide of sort and I seen thease lines witch I assumed where oiling veins? And I was thinking a good oiling tool would be to have a oil can under pressure to push oil through the lil oil ball's . Fill to what ever is safe if you could just regulate the outlet to .5 to 2 psi what ever it took to blow into the veins to the lead screw nuts or 3 or 4 points along dove tails. Honest on my kids that is what I was thinking about than you pop on screen with them cans ! Anyway it freaked me out.

@@donmadere4237, that might be the handiest tool you have in the shop, it looks great. A lot of home builders build a set of sawhorses right away when they start building a house, I think guys that are putting a shop together should build a gantry crane right away so they can use it on the first machine they drag home. I think we missed out on a couple of chances for some good videos, a gantry crane that would be a perfect size for my shop, a metal rack and a couple of rebuilds like the vise. Everything is looking good on your end, keep us updated when you can!
