10th Gen Civic Si - Transmission Rebuild - Episode 2 Disassemble Gear Shafts

This is a continuation of rebuilding the Civic transmission. I'll be showing how I do the disassembly using a Harbor Freight 20T Shop Press and homemade fixtures. There may be different ways to do this, but this has worked for me. Next episode will show more details on rebuilding the shafts.

I'm working with a couple other guys right now who just finished installing 3-4 CAPTS gears and driving the car. He absolutely loves the gear whine. The other guy just got his gears shipped. He will have a shop rebuild for him, but equally excited. Seems like CAPTS may be stocking parts finally. Great option to PPG.
