Hey Garrett - Pretty great insight coming from your point of view. You can’t fail until you quit. A lot of similarities in our real estate journey. I started with a condo foreclosure. For real. I have been thinking about a glamping site for future wise. A lot of work to set up but sounds promising. Fellow music creator here. I’m doing similar things with real estate investing with music licensing funds in Michigan. 20:11 as far as templates go - I’m all about it. Foundation is key to a great home. That was one of the main things I focused on when I was looking at potential flips or buy and hold in Detroit. P.s. there’s no failing in music. You’ve already succeeded by being musically creative and focused on releasing music. It is just an extension of your essence.

Hi Garrett my name is Tim really enjoyed your podcast. First I would say I'm sorry to hear about the passing of your brother I lost my wife of 37 years a year ago. We we're wanting to start trying to get into camp grounds I'm about 30 minutes away from dollywood but dealing with the loss of my wife my mind has stopped thinking about it much lately. I really liked the way you have slot of strategies to buy propert do you understand how to buy property with paying someone on a lease option with paying them a percentage of profits for the length of contract what the lawyer you would set that up I'm not sure how all of that works thanks for reading this may your glamping plans go well Tim

I think many people would choose to stay here to gauge if maybe they would want to build one for themselves. Big However: if you aren't committed to continue in this model, be aware that domes often don't have very good exit strategies. This might not be true in all markets, but it is true in MN, ND and SD.

Very true. It was a concern of mine but that’s why I wanted to make sure the house on the land would hold a lot of equity/have room for cosmetic updates. I’ll have 3 massively cash flowing places with lean operations (all on same site) with 1 being a true long term RE play. I don’t plan on ever selling but I could package this up as a NOI based business and sell as well eventually.

Can you explain what you mean by exit strategy? Do you mean nobody wants to buy a used dome?

@@li-nickels I may be wrong but I interpreted as in resale/appraisal value which these have very low on if any. You would need to sell this as a business later on compared to a residential style house. Who knows though by that time and if I even actually sell
