Few recommendations from me. First, get Myu's knowledge point tracker. It'll tell you what you need. That's what's in the top left of his screen. Look into the price of making cloth bracers. They usually cost around 40g, but cloth is so cheap on my server it's around 20-25g. Also, there are 2 point items for almost all professions that come from chests and wax. With enchanting, you cannot get catchup items from disenchant without looting these. Ench, and the 3 gathering proffs can get fully caught up of you grind your ass off. Buckle up if you choose to. Crafting catchup is only through orders, which is really freaking lame. I pray they add those to treasures at some point. Much love from someone who is fully caught up on all professions. Don't be like me. I hate myself. I'm so excited for this grind to end when the patch drops.

Wild, my enchanter is not my main character, but I've never had a problem getting the weekly knowledge from disenchantment. Just sending my enchanter alt boe greens and unwanted wue gear does it just fine.

you have to unlock the catch up mechanic by finding 2 knowledge points from treasures and doing the weekly quest . After u did this u can continue disenchantig. Did this months ago with 8 characters.

2:25 that's a lie, ingot crafting is a huge pain and multicraft was what usually you invest all in to get some decent amount to the astounding materials that this expansion require, specially RNG based materials that you get in delves and randomly in treasures, multicraft shouldn't have been nerfed but buffed to keep those stupid blacksmithing crafting orders for knowledge points asking you for 40k gold of materials for 1 meager point. This is the worst state of professions I've ever seen, I would gladly go back to classic style professions like we had in TBC or WOTLK or the Pandaria ones in which we were able to get fully geared for raid with heroic dungeon materials and gatherable reagents, now everything has to be a slot machine for quality or a huge time or money investment farming reagent of specific quality.

More or less free crystals now for enchanting from siren isle. Epics drop like candy, and are cheap as chips from the vendors. Enchanters getting it so easy I had to lvl mine asap to lvl enchanting lol

as far as I know, you can only get 9 knowledge points from disenchanting per week. am i wrong?

yes u are, i also did this with 8 chars months ago , u can unlock the catch up mechanic by finding the treasure knowledge points and doing the weekly, after u did this u can collect all missing knowledge point by disenchanting. Did it with char nr 9 yesterday and could collect 295 points from disenchanting. So the invest for maxin enchanting is like 50k gold but u get like 40k profit per week.

Once you are max, you can get 11. There's 2 from treasures, 9 from disenchant. You cannot get the catchup points until you get the two treasure. Then you can disenchant to get the catchup if you have a backlog. If you get myus knowledge point tracker weakaura, you'll be able to see what it is.

I"ve kinda given up on professions. While I like the depth they've added, getting knowledge is just too difficult. 2-3 points a week- yea, and you need to log in every day, like who has time for that!

I get 10-15 in about fifteen minutes each week. Granted I spend 2-5k gold each week for those npc crafts.

U can get way more than that every week, it's way more easy than what it was on df with the npc work orders (some reset weekly and some daily), first day of the wow week i get like 7-8 + the weekly quest that gives 2 just via npc orders all in 5 min, then 1-2 points daily takes no time, also u get a good base to start with vendors, first crafts and world treasures, and u can also get some points weekly via drops from the wax nodes in the world but a little more rng

LOL why Blizz Dev fails so bad at math Resourcefulness and multicraft are basically the same stat, if you balance the weight of them they become one Stat If you don't balance them one is always more beneficial than the other under all circumstances unless you start introducing diminishing return.

multicrafting getting nerfed will cause tinder boxes to go up. resourcefulness already has terrible procs on good mats. most of the time it only saves mats u buy from the vendor. inscription im lucky to save a few extra pigments for ink. but making extra inks and ciphers is all i get the benefit from. JC is horrid on multicraft gems. i barely get those procs as it is. and im maxed multicraft with tools on multiple toons with resource tools. even my enchanting resource proc after this goes live will pay off then it does now. i barely salvage anything even with 27%

tbh multicraft has been dead this entire exp, if i craft 300 flasks i maby got 40 extra flasks from that, also the whole concentration has kinda killed crafting for anyone that is not running 10 caracters chaincrafting back to back, as a solo crafting caracter you make no money of crafting alchemy what so ever now, every other day i can make maby 1000 gold now, since the multiboxers bennefited from this new crafting system more then anyone else, you cant craft r3 without concentration, unless you use al rank 3 mats and you loose more then dubble the money. worst crafting changes ever made. crafting unless is only good if crafting is al you do in the game, you cant even be self sustaining now with crafting, its trash

reset on points is useless this lat einto expansion. if its not at the very start iuts useless and even then is also useless: dragonflight every1 went rings/necks and i went gems for the guild, turns out every1 going necks gave me huuuuge profits due to me being able to provide max rank gems early. if ppl knew the lariat recipe would be that hard to get (several millions, i paied near 2M for it and still made more than 12M from it... and i didnt need to respec even, just mindlessly farm dirt XD dirt was broken). at the end if u can respec then everything will be cheap very fast and no1 will make gold from it. ppl being "stuck" in a profession spec is a oportunity to control a part of market no1 else wanted and thus more gold than being on the same build as every1, who will canibalize each others profits. all in all its bad ot be able to respec often.
