Aw... I know those teenage years seem far away, but my 1st child is my 15 year old daughter and she is still a mamas girl... She has definitely gotten closer to her daddy over the last couple years also, but I'm still Mama... She just did a project for her public speaking class that was things she has learned from me, she chose the topic all by choice... It melted my heart... Because I felt like when she was this age there would be a few years of her just not wanting anything to do with me, don't get me wrong we have our moment of butting heads... But we are half way through the hardest teen years and so far she has not disowned me lol.

It's good that u enjoy all these little special moments with Penelope because they grow up so fast!!! I am a mom of 3, a girl n 2 boys. N yes all babies r different n do things when they r ready. Don't ever feel bad because it is normal. My 1st walked at 10 mos, my 2nd at 13 mos, n my 3rd at 11mos. I feel that everyone who is a mom for the 1st time, will always b hard on themselves when it comes to the baby doing things a little later than normal, or if they don't walk before they r 1, or if they don't talk when they should. It is normal to feel like that but as u have more kids, u change the way u do things n just learn to just try n do the best u can to help ur kid grow n learn. N trust me when they r ready u will know. I have learned not to be 2 harsh on myself or force anything. They will show u when they r ready to walk or talk. My youngest son is 21 mos old n he still doesn't talk as much words as my other kids did at that age but it's ok. He is still learning n growing. Penelope is so cute God Bless her n has grown so much. Here r some show recommendations if u r interested that teaches n entertains my child. I have 4 different channels that my son watches in rotation on KZbin. They r: 1) Super Simple Songs 2)Bounce Patrol 3) Cocomelon 4) Dave and Ava. Hope Penelope n u enjoy them lol. Cuz I know I do lol. U would always catch me singing the simple songs. Fun Fact Judy Travis from itsjudyslife daughter Leah also watches Super Simple Songs. Let me know what u think of them n Penelope's favorite once she does watch any of them. Ok take care love xoxo😘😘😘

Love these updates! Always super helpful!! Question on weaning, did P show signs of wanting to self wean at any time? Also, can you talk about the emotional aspect of it? I’m nervous about it. Currently 7m in. Thank you!!

Ty! The only sign I would say is that she would nurse less but I think that was more her just getting older and eating more solids but I'll be sure to talk about it all in that video! :)
