11/16/23 Pre: The Disneyland Railroad: Highlights ft. 3 trains in service
Back on November 16th, we decided to railfan the Disneyland Railroad in celebration of 455amtrak's B-day. Ironically, this was also the first day the signal system was used for service and therefore, 3 trains were in service for guests. The trains spotted were:
1. Ernest S. Marsh 4 with Holiday 2 Red.
2. C.K. Holliday with Excursion 3.
3. E.P. Ripley 2 with Holiday 5 Blue(without Lilly Belle DRR 106).

As of the past 3 days, Marsh had Holiday 4 instead of Holiday 2. The other sets remained the same.

It's beyond mind boggling how many times the crew have to say "stay seated until the all clear" for people to finally get it. It's obviously not like any of the other narrow gauge trains at a road like Durango and Silverton, or the standard gauge ones I crew myself here on BR&W, where the cars are built for standing/walking. On DRR, if that slack comes in too hard while you're standing up on one of those bench seats, you're pretty much gonna have one hell of a bad day with a head like humpty dumpty...
