Ernest S. Marsh Tender Ride

Here we take a tender ride on the Ernest S. Marsh. Sorry that it's a short segment, I was mostly talking to the train crew, and didn't want to sound awkward.
Also note that I was the very first passenger to get a tender ride on the Ernest S. Marsh number. She is one beautiful locomotive.

There are some pretty good engineers on the DRR, most of the time they're generous with the whistles but here and there you get the engineer who never whistles.

i read on a disneyland railroad forum that cab/tender rides are supposed to be back sometime next week

just awesome that she gives cabrides!. it looks a lot diffrent than 1 and 2 inside actually. especially with the boiler extention into the cab(and not terminating near the front wall). making the controls packed near the crew seats(the johnson bar looks difficult to reach and i finally see why they say "fuel stick"). is it better than the 4-4-0's or not? also, it looks like you rode with engineer dan and fireman rudy. i rode with them too(on the holliday, two diffrent rides)

wow...that would be the first engineer ive ever seen on the dlrr with the slightest amount of decent whistling...everyone else doesn't whistle at all!. the just pull the thing...whistling is an acquired skill...
