I wanna see a medusa rework that actually uses the idea of statues in her kit

When i was a new player i thought if you made a statue of an enemy god you got more power, imagine if they actually did that

@@xxxzombiekillerxxx6079 it could be such a cool way to scale into the late game, change her dash root into a statue stun and anytime you kill a god while they're stoned you get a stack that increases power, cdr, pen, or something like that. It could also work with minion statues to a lesser degree. Make her acid spit get a bonus effect if you hit a statue with it, like longer range or more damage in the cone. Stone statues are medusa's whole thing, they could give her a minion based playstyle like bakasura, but with turning them to stone rather than eating them. And at that point just change her to an assasin, its always felt weird that she's a hunter, her character seems like a jungler to me. it should actually feel like I'm playing as medusa and not some snake lady with a bow.

hmmm im just skeptical most people just don't build mages correctly in first place. the pro mid players build for tank killing as mage not high damage kill squishies. i find guardians tanks are biggest problem in matches with no antitank. I've never been a fan of ability hunter in smite you will never have as much tank killing potential as a mage or a proper adc. adc has always been king of tank killing. while mages poke their health down with item procs and cooldown. honestly i find myself losing matches more often to good tanks sometimes it looks like its the enemy that has a really good kda but you realize the enemy support is just eating their teams ass 24/7 and locking down your teammates getting free kills.

- nerfing bluestone because of 2 Gods... instead of nerfing those specific gods, they make bluestone warrior shit (less than average) again. - kukulkans anti-gameplay playstyle isn't getting fixed, unless they nerf tornado-and-run-away shit. - The rest seems decently reasonable.

This balance patch is abysmal, AMC isn't even overpowed, he's just doing more than mages currently, but pushing him out of mid by buffing the mages, or let alone nerfing him, is just gonna make him unplayable again. Marti is fine since he's decent in adc though. And nerfing bluestone again? come on Hi Rez..

Nah, bluestone doing 300 damage is a lot more than reasonable. It should always be higher than purple tho. Also kuku is just a fundamentally flawed god like how sphinx bauble is also flawed.

@@prodICYN bluestone rn is just a tough to balance item. It gives a ton of bonus damage (I've gotten 800) from the passive. They can't lock it to warriors either, it's not "only good on warriors" it's got to compete with 2 other starters which both are weaker than it rn. Which is why it's being nerfed, so it's not better but a competitor.

Good bonus patch overall i hope they're going on the right direction. The bluestone nerf is needed because there is a lot of abuse around it. (Especially from AMC, Marti and Loki players)

This really is just a band-aid patch. All it does is nerf rather than doing something that would feel impactful like a major buff on forgotten characters or buffing items that are in desperate need of upgrades.

Nerfs to Bluestone and Marti-AMC are not gonna do much, the main source of their damage are yellow procs with 30-40% pen, which is given to them for basically free. But I dont think that stat bloat can be reversed in a 10 year old game, hopefully Smite 2 will not have it out of the gate.

Really sad about the bluestone nerf. Its the only fun starter in solo lane for me. I understand that physical mids were abusing it, but surely there are better ways to deal with that issue.

I like the bake nerfs. I loved bake at first, i like his ability to just kinda stay in the thick of it, but it was too much at the start. Late game he also falls off a good deal without his ultimate. Otherwise he just isn’t encouraged to build the best hp5, so getting poked down can indeed be a problem, which is what people need to start doing. If you’re still struggling to kill a bake, build shred and damage % increase like a second executioner, a void shield, void doumaru, and/or a spear of the magus. Reducing his prots reduces his power so keep that in mind, and spear of the magus is becoming a better item so keep it on your radar.

All starters feel so shit to pick in Solo lane now. Sigil is the "best" one for late game, but shit early lane. Axe is the best laning starter, but Sundering is a dogshit item and only Animosity is a good upgrade, for the select few AA warriors. And now Bluestone is getting nerfed too. Boutta just not run starters; or just play Guardians. Conduit is so much better than all of this shite.

His movement wasn’t what made the 2 broken though. It’s the crazy amount of flat pen early gm paired with jotunns. The bigger nerf to him was the ult CD. Having a 72 second CD semi global execute after 1 item was busted. Now that number is at 88. That’s a gigantic nerf in terms of snowballing a game.

i think making mages the anti tank calsls and adcs the genreael damage but not anti tank would eb better tbh. As hunter being able to passievelyshred tanks before abilites causess issues versues mages whom have to be cooldown reliant to deal large damage numbers. Just a personal take as honestly? ADCs constantly wreck havoc on roles nowadays.

The damage is fine. Both classes are damage classes and both deserve the power to be able to kill tanks if built correctly. The issue with hunters is their insane base health. They shouldn’t be as tanky as they are when they do as much damage as they do.

I have never lost solo lane as a non solo laner…. To me that’s not balanced.. his late game def falls off but they’re only nerfing early to make it more fair. I think it’ll take him him out of the meta which is what they want in the long run.

I hate it when they nerf the damage of guardians, that's never the reason why they're strong, so it always pisses me off. Take Ymir for example, he has better scaling than most guardians and people still play him tank. Tanks already get rekt by every damage dealing class in the game, let them do damage

Letting them do damage most of the time is honestly a really bad idea at times. It's easy for them to go haywire if they have too much base damage since they could build full tank and do what the warrior should be doing, and people can play ymir tank pretty comfortably due to his kit and passive for the most part helping out alot

Bake late game isn't that overtune anymore after the nerf to his 1, and remember penetration lowers his damage output, so nerfing his early game puts him in line with most gaurdians. Sad
