i see this more as a tank killer items. any squishy should be dying by the time you get 7 autos off ever. but if you have 2 tanks trying to lock you down and some life steal you would have time to stack it. its basicaly mandatory silverbranch bow. and over capping attack speed before you buy this. you will be a dedicated tank killer though until you ramp up the passive then hard core W key.

​@@timothyfloyd3269​ Unless I'm misunderstanding you I think you have this item all wrong. You want to buy this as a 1st item. Way before Silverbranch. The stacks are permanent, so it's irrelevant how many autos you get off in a fight. It's how many autos you've done after purchasing it and before the fight that will be most relevant. So the earlier you get it the better.

@@DesertPhoenix24 your point isnt valid. 80 percent of gods. On base line no attack speed. At level 1 already hit an auto per second. About 20 percent of gods can average 3-4. At max aa speed you can hit alot of autos per second.

For context on the Surtr Change, no, it's actually slower to stack on him (when factoring in the amount of damage you get) than it was before, however, his stacking mechanic feels more interactive. The fastest way to stack before was to just freeze wave and just slam an archer with the 1, which could get you 3-5 stacks per wave depending on your current CDR, or a bonus 15-25 damage, whereas now with that same stack method, you will likely get anywhere between 3-18 bonus damage per wave, which is a huge drop off from the low end in the early game, in exchange for being able to get +3 damage for hitting an enemy god. And that QoL change amounts to... No late game difference payoff. Sure you can stack faster by smacking the other laner, but like, you get the same amount of stacks (if I'm reading it right because it'd be stack for damage + Stack for kill) for killing an Archer Minion as you do for smacking a God, and the only time the payoff is more is if you kill said God, so he becomes more poke centric, but his reward for this playstyle is stacking his damage so much noticeably slower than before, sure it's a more interactive change, but it's a nerf because the rate at which he stacks damage ultimately decreases.

The best way to put it, for those who can't easily process what was said... Ideally, with Surtr, you're getting 1 stack for 1 cast (as things are now) That's +5 damage per cast. The only way you can match that, in the change, is to kill an enemy player for a total +8 damage bonus now. If you're not doing that, you're capping at +3 bonus damage per cast. That's a decrease in bonus damage stacking by about 40% just to get a 60% increase for killing a player (in comparison to his previous stacking method.), which isn't worth it in Conquest given the slower pacing

The only thing I see that interested me was the Izanami buffs. I’m a bit underwhelmed by her 3 buff. While a shorter cooldown at all stages is nice, kinda wish there was a bit more to it. My idea would be that Iza gets movement speed while invisible like The Morrigan. Though Izanami can dash under obstacles while Morrigan has to go around so I guess it makes sense. That or maybe make it last longer. The buff to the 2 is however pretty good. 20% slow at base is pretty nice but get a 40% slow when stacked it cool. Really makes it harder for the enemy to run away or backpeddle.

My biggest gripe with coming back to smite from league was how unimportant being ahead is. One mess up and they end up ahead of your sometimes. Its so dumb. You get 3 early game kills, perfect farming, rhen die once at 10 and they are completely back in the game.

Op is correct actually. If bdk doesn't have aoe attacks, 3 spiders set on it will deal 42% of its hp alone. That plus arachnee auto attacking it while not taking damage would allow her to solo it in no time with no risk to herself.

Stormseeker's effect at max stacks is 150%. 170% with the 20% the extra 20% from the item.

That is the theoretical cap. You would need the game to go on long enough and also hit how ever many autos it would take to get there. I'm not good at math so I don't know how many, but if you in fact could get there, this with silver branch would be crazy.

Surtr main here, the 1 change is horrible for his damage, they made hard matchups easier to stack but his 1 will nosedive, it was possible to reach 200 stacks on minute 30-40, this will be seeing him having a bigger pickrate but his skill and strength ceiling got obliterated in all fairness.

8:06 No, because that's not how the item works. The minion damage from the item isn't "Minion Damage * 2", it's "Item Damage + Minion Damage". To elaborate, it has one proc which applies to all enemies, god & minion alike, and another proc which only applies for minions. So decreasing the minion damage here makes it so that minions are taking effectively 1.5x damage from the item, rather than the effectively 2x damage they took before.

Gem nerfs are all fine at least on Cthulhu, his base damage is already high enough, he’s insta clearing the wave, it’s just gonna be a little slower now, plus it doesn’t change on jungle buffs so he can still clear well early game and secure totems while doing massive amounts of damage to the solo laner as well. The bauble increased cost is sad tho :( justified but sad. Bauble is the most fun item in the game currently.

And chary is good for it because her autos are multi hits on the last in the chain plus she can easily hit through minions for auto damage. Much quicker stacking then any other god would have.

Stormbreaker is a very gimicky item if you really do the math on it. I agree maybe Chardy but that still is a big stretch. And with Equinox on Loki, you will NOT build it on him. It’s an auto attack based item for Gods like Kali, Arachne, Baka, and for AA warriors like Gilg, Bellona, Osiris, etc. you will not replace an item on an ability based god like Loki for that item even if your Auto attack canceling properly.

I don't understand the frostbound hate I get gem because it doesn't offer any pen but still gods with shield are strong as hell and shells is bought very often. New Frostbound is just better like hitting a slow on multiple gods does so much in team fights for space or even making some use a relic or ability like a jump. It works with stone of binding as well. it also has amazing stats. The old version was just dumb. Slows are just too good. now gem can be double procs off 1 ability

@@bloodfusion3901 You were able to stack but it didn’t matter because at camps you still had to kill the big minion of the 3 and those minions didn’t die any faster(because Golden blade and Golden claw’s passives did damage to the side minions and had no effect on the middle big minion). Claw was nerfed a patch ago but it’s still good on AA hunters, AA junglers like Arachne. Wing shard is also good depending on what you’re looking for

Gem of iso and frostbound should be items that stack per ability/auto rather than one off procc items. with no hard cap on how long they last. Gem of isolation - A slow that lasts 2.5s of 15%, stacking up to two times, for a total of 30%. Can only occur once per ability (so that ticks do not constant refresh and create abuse cases.) Also removing the 10% CCR and replacing it with 10% CDR. Frostbound Hammer - Your auto attacks provide an attack speed slow and movespeed slow of 5% per stack, stacking 5 times, lasting for 1.5s. This way it actually plays into the strengths of what the characters that build these want to do, i.e. frostbound sustaining its effect on auto attackers, whilst not being too potent on the initial use case. And mages wanting some CDR whilst also providing utility, but the CDR bringing said utility back up quicker.
