Fun fact how this happened was the f16a (Belgium) was originally going to be 12.0 (as it was on the dev server) in both RB and AB but after criticism from the dev server players it was bumped up to 12.3 in RB, since having it be the same BR as the objectively worse f16a(USA) is dumb I straight up think they forgot to move it's arcade BR, and hopefully it will move it up to 12.3 next balance change, along with moving the mig21s to 9.3

@@tregaming07 The 9M trashes bad (aka most) WT players due to the way it's ECCM works. With the r-73, you still flare it basically the same way as every other IR missile (and flares can easily pull it off of you from longer ranges), but with the 9M, it just sticks on target unless the pilot knows where it's coming from and is skilled enough to make the right maneuvers while spamming flares. WT is so unbalanced at 12.0+ now it's just not fun.. in any case, this video is a great showcase of how even in an environment with everyone literally spamming flares everywhere, 9M still smacks bad pilots in the face most of the time. "Mig-29 is a good plane" lol yea... some shitty r-60ms and easy to dodge radar missiles. Hooo boy.

The problem with more and more op missiles is that the ones that were op before are not that op anymore and obviously the have to get downtiered so that they are op again. And as vowel guy beautifully showed: this is quite nice if you are the one with the op missiles. Tldr: Aim9m's should not be at "12.0"

I bet this plane’s BR is going to move up to 12.3 or 12.7 by the end of this month or next month. Before that, radar missiles are great to counter the Belgian F-16A. I usually use R-27ER and AIM-7F/M to keep them at a distance to prevent them to get into AIM-9M range (3.5 km).

Watch the "how to super snipe" video. The angle matters way more than the range - a guy 8 KM away flying towards you is going to be a lot easier to hit than a guy 5 KM away flying away from you.

obv. watched the "how to super snipe" snipe video, but because the Aim-7F/Radar hates anything that isnt a headon (side - pulse doppler gets turned off, missle gets chaffed, rear aspect doesnt really work either, due to the radar olny having normal/PDV HDN modes, the normal is kinda useless cuz it doesnt hold the lock, and the PDV HDN does not lock targets flying away). when i try to snipe an unaware target from about 30-50 degrees off to the side from below at about 9-6km, the missile shits itself and crashes into the ground (even tho the target does not go substantially lower), and if i try to launch the missle at a closer range 4-2km in a headon, it doesnt reach its full maneuvrability instantly (same as the vautour, but less prominent) and misses.

Just use multiple button binds for your radar. Personally I have all of my radar buttons except for the lock button set up to alt + (insert button here) with the lock button on c. For arcade it's pretty simple since using different modes and scales doesn't really matter. Just ACM, switch target button, and the lock button are all you have to care about. Scope, too, if you're having a lot of trouble picking up people in front of you (doesn't apply to certain planes)
