I used to be obssesed with green tea products, and i somehow ended up purchasing and repurchasing the isntree toner 4 times. I will never EVER buy it again though. I always pour toner into the palms of my hands and not directly on my face, and there's always some spillage due to how watery it is. It caused HORRIBLE staining in my sink and I am NOT here for it 😂 Im so traumatized by having to clean it on the daily that i refuse to try the kayn kombucha toner either, just because of the similar color 😂 Regarding the BHA toners, I have to agree with you on the Cosrx one. Maybe I was underwhelmed because I was using a western 2% salicilyc acid prior to trying this one and I had something to compare to, but yeah, it did absolutely nothing for my skin (the only thing worse in terms of potency was their aha bha toner that comes in a spray bottle. It was easier in terms of use though). As of 2024, I am now using the Anua 2% BHA and i love love everhthing about it ! I finished a bottle of BoJ AHA BHA toner just before that (the formula was way more elegant and the product more pleasant to use than the cosrx one) but it was the same in that it didn’t do a lot in terms of exfoliation. The Anua BHA feels so good on my skin. I love the dispenser, the consistency, the texture, the way my skin feels after using it, and that it actually works 😂

Haha oh no! Can totally see why you’re not a green tea fan - good new is that there are so many great Korean toners out there that you’re probably not missing out. Plus, you won’t be traumatized by the staining 😄 Also love the Anua BHA toner… like you it’s my go to ❤️ Thanks so much for sharing your experience! It’s great to learn what products others are loving & what works well for them.

how does the anua bha toner compare to the boj one?
@ChristinaDiF4 ай бұрын
@@gdvvgdfv I haven’t tried the BOJ AHA/BHA toner. From looking at the ingredient list it has 2% glycolic acid & 0.5% salicylic acid. Whereas the anua has 2% salicylic acid.

Is it better to put toner on ur hands/ face directly or to put it on cosmetic pad and then use it on the face?
@ChristinaDiF8 ай бұрын
It's more of a personal preference. No right or wrong way :) For hydrating toners, I like putting it directly on my face b/c so I'm not wasting product. Just make sure your hands are clean :) For chemical exfoliators, I want to control the amount I put on my skin. So I like to use a toner pad - that way I'm not drenching my skin in an exfoliator that could be irritating.

Hi! Just want to clarify, what are you a doctor of? I did not quite get the first part of your introduction. Thanks!
@ChristinaDiF7 ай бұрын
I have a doctorate degree in nursing. My expertise lies in analyzing and synthesizing clinical research to provide actionable recommendations. While I’m not a dermatologist, I spend a lot of time studying skincare research and testing products, which guide my tips. I previously wrote clinical policies and educational programs for nurses to ensure their practices were based on the latest research. I now use these skills to dive into skincare research. My advice is based on a lot of research, not just my personal experience. My goal is to help you make informed decisions about your skincare routine. My tips shouldn’t replace advice from a dermatologist, and they’re not the be-all and end-all. You still need to do your own research - Everyone's skin is different, so what works for me might not work for you. I mention my doctorate degree because I have the skillset to analyze and synthesize research. So, my recommendations are grounded in science and not just my personal opinion. Hope that helps clarify things :)
