I have been struggling with big inflamed acne since October of last year and it really threw me for a loop since I have never struggled with acne and even pimples come once in a blue moon in my teenage years. After going back and forth between different products, I always fall back on your advice of hydrating the skin instead of drying the pimples out. Aside from my PanOxyl benzoyl peroxide cleanser and TIL succinic acid treatment (which you introduced me too), the BoJ glow serum and RNW ceramide serum have become my holy grails and helps in reducing the size of the not so deep pimples and to reduce the post-acne hyperpigmentation. I really can't thank you enough for your recommendations and in making my adult acne journey a lot less stressful Kelly.

This happened to me and I realized I was over doing it with chemical exfoliation. Once I stopped and focus3d on repairing my moisture barrier all that acne went away.

I clicked on this video so fast! I vote for a series!!! You have helped me clear my skin, Kelly. I never thought it would be possible! I use centella, mugwort, snail, and propolis. I can’t live without the Benton sheet mask! Azelaic acid has helped as well. You also helped me listen to what my skin needs (I used to just slather benzoyl peroxide on my pimples). Can you please please please review the new Purito daily soft touch sunscreen? It doesn’t have niacinamide (which I’m sensitive to and is in every sunscreen). I’m excited for this launch but I need your approval 😂

I never get breakouts or acne but I like watching your videos for product recs, I like the soothing products as my skin is dry, I enjoyed using the propolis serums you recommended, the Benton sheet masks which were my favourite sheet masks. For Heartleaf I also recommend the Abib heartleaf sheet masks and the Anua heartleaf toner, they were very good imo

Hi Kelly! Omg that by Wishtrend propolis serum broke me out badly but I’ve discovered my skin hates macro algae! So that’s the reason, glad it works for you! I love the skin1004 centella toner and Cosrx snail essence!

Weird skin is definitely different because my face is the opposite Snail made me break out into fuctulitis/fungal acne and Popolis soothed my skin. Its definitely journey in finding the right routine.

@@angelac1453 oh absolutely! Are you allergic to dust mites by any chance? My skin love propolis just not that particular serum because it has macro algae = Corallina Officinalis Extract. Micro is better for acne prone

I really like the Glow Recipe Watermelon PHA + BHA Pore-Tight Toner. It contains betaine salicylate and gluconolactone and is very gentle. I’m a tretinoin user so I can’t use strong exfoliants and that toner works great for me.

Thank you. Ive been on retinol for more than 2 yrs but i still breakout and my skin sensitivity has increased alot. I'm thinking to lessen retinol and other strong exfoliations and incorporate more soothing and gentler anti aging products. I've been too harsh on my skin while chasing fast results.

I feel that the boj glow serum is good for evening routine . I tried using it under my sunscreen in the morning but that didn't go so well. My pores were larger than usually when I stopped using it in the morning my pores went back to normal but for evening it's really nice

I am not acne prone but I do have the occasional bumps especially if I eat sh!t (high sugar or carbs mostly) or I got sick but the COSRX Snail Mucin line is my fave. I started with the snail cream (going 3 years now) because it’s the best moisturizer for my extremely oily face whether it’s summer or winter. It’s light yet very moisturizing and the best of all, it doesn’t make me more greasy. I started to use the Snail essence a year after only because it used to be always sold out from the site that shipped to my home country. I use this every night especially during tretinoin nights. This is my 2nd layer after the Galactomyces 1st essence then the Tretinoin. It kind of “cushion” the side effect of tretinoin hence I never really experience purge, peeling, extreme dehydration associated with retinoic. Then finally, I tried and have continued using the snail cleanser. I love the texture, the smell, and the non-drying effect on my skin. I am now on my 2nd tube because a little does a long way with this cleanser.

The By Wishtrend Polyphenols in Propolis is SO OILY on me and makes me break out immediately... and not in a "purging" kind of way. I don't know why it's so greasy and it was such a bummer since I couldn't use it anywhere (too greasy) and since it's a bit pricy too.

Do you have a method for removing the hydrochloride patches without ending up with an open wound/ losing skin. I have tried being careful with removal but still having issues with this.

You can try showering with the patch on or holding a warm wash cloth to the patch to loosen/melt the adhesive. When I forget I have a patch in in the shower or bath they just slide right off!

Well Manyo Our Vegan Heartleaf Cica Serum- using atm It’s OK but nothing special/ Beauty of Joseon Glow Serum- broke me out, funny enough only on my chest 🤷🏼‍♀️/ Cosrx BHA Power Liquid- was OK but I need 2% proper BHA 2-3x a week I’d rather do that to save few pennies and get exfoliation that my skin needs/ Cosrx 69 Power Snail Mucin Essence was just too heavy for my skin….My 2 favourite products for flare ups and irritations are Barr Cica Calming Ampoule Toner and Benton Deep Green Tea Serum Tried and tested

Isntree uses salicylic acid which is very effective! I like the cosrx but the betaine salicylate is more gentle and will work a little slower.

I need your advice I've been using Cosrx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence and Cosrx snail mucin all in one cream with Adapalene gel and it is giving me really good results with my acne prone, combination skin.. I have recently come across Cosrx Niacinamide 15 Serum and Cosrx Vitamin C 23 Serum and would really like to add them in my routine.. my question is, Can I use adapalene gel , cosrx niacinamide and vitamin c serum together? Or Beauty of Jeseon Glow propolis serum will be better? Thank you very much God bless

I really like Macqueen brand for their eyeliners (liquid and pencil), Etude house has an awesome lip tint called Lip Fixing Tint that doesn't dry out the lips or transfer easily. I just bought a ton the Holika Holika Curl Fixing Mascara because it is the only one that holds a curl and doesn't smudge on me!
