@@tommyvercetti2687 it really wasn’t. WWE ‘12 has far better gameplay than SVR ‘11. SVR ‘11 gameplay was a lot slower and not that realistic. The only thing good about 2011 was the weapon physics, everything is felt lackluster and boring. Especially when everyone’s moveset was almost identically because THQ removed like 200 or so moves from SVR 2011 that was in SVR 2010.

This game was far from perfect but was so much fun, me and my mates that used to be wrestling fans when lockdown became less strict in the summer we all played this and smackdown vs raw 2009 on his 360, it was like living my old memories.

This is not my favorite game, that goes to WWE 2K19, but this one has the best storyline by far!! I loved the WCW Invasion storyline because you were the main character in it, and I have a thing for Invasion storylines in wrestling. When I saw the storyline, it was crazy and I loved it. At least 2K19 had some Invasion too, as the main character invaded NXT. WWE '12 was awesome!!!

@@extremeking425 universe mode only got worse as the games progressed over the years. WWE’12 is the last one where the booking actually made sense within a storyline perspective. WWE ‘13 and onwards had little to no story progression and was just random matches with the same cutscenes over and over again.

Hear me out on this. Fan Axxess as it was called back then included an unlock everything DLC. This would have been used by many people, but by using the unlock all, these moments wouldn't have triggered. The commentary stuff is more Easter Egg terrority.
