At 8:28, you mentioned that the payoffs 2 and 0 are vNM utilities. Aren't they supposed to be Bernoulli utilities instead as Bernoulli utility denotes utility over outcomes (in this case, strategies)? The vNM utility is rather the expected utility from the lottery/probability distribution/mixed strategies. Hence, in the expected utility function 2(1/3) + 0(2/3) = 2/3 in the example here, 2 and 0 are Bernoulli utilities and 2/3 is the vNM/expected utility. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

The underlying small u function is sometimes called Bernoulli utility function or a von Neumann-Morgenstern utility function (after the pioneers of this idea) and the overall expression is called expected utility of the lottery L, and written as EU(L).
