Great timing. I am a confirmed Chanel addict, and have quite a few in my bag collection, but the latest news of impending price increase has me beyond salty. There is crazy, and there is insulting madness, which Chanel has become. So Saint Laurent is looking better and better to me lately. Hi Steph, thanks for another great video. Im loving the YSL brand. I have the black clutch which I convert to a WOC and the puffer small in dark beige and loving it 🥰 It looks so sophisticated even with casual outfit. I am looking to add the YSL mini lou in white and the small black envelope bag with silver hardware. I think the small envelope is a great alternative to a chanel rectangular mini plus it is not as delicate with the calfskin leather. 🥰

@@Handbagholic so far no issues at all. YSL recommended I treat it with a protector before use, so I went to the place they suggested and they taught me how to do it. I spray it before I wear it out and no dirt or issues. I baby my bags a LOT and this one is just as easy to upkeep as my others.

For some reason I like the shearling more on you than the suede when you've modelled them in your videos. The tweed would be a dream bag for me. Great points about convertible and removable straps, so important to consider.

I got the tote bag in black as my first designer bag and I totally love it. Not only is the price point good but it looks really elegant for a tote. Which YSL bag should I get? I want to buy myself one as a gift. I actually own 4 YSl bags myself, sunset in beautiful burgundy with silver hardware, black loulou in small patent leather with gold hardware, lou belt bag in fuschia with gold hardware and sac du jour nano in black crocodile print with silver hardware. I always find myself choosing french brands instead of italian, i don't know why, my favorites are LV, chanel and YSL. Hey Adriana, yes I do think it's definitely playing up more to the 'pillow' trend that we've seen. I don't think it'll be 'out of date' anytime soon, but the Sunset / LouLou are better in terms of longevity.

Hey Pri, if that's the one you're drawn to then go for it! I loved my envelope bag but just because I have the sunset I didn't really use as much. Only thing to note is try not to put it down on the floor (use a table hook) etc. as the corners do damage on those bags.

I only own two YSL handbags and a YSL clutch. I did own the shopper tote but ended up selling it as the quality was bad, it lost its shape and the saint laurent white embossing faded away!

@@Handbagholic unfortunately the shopper was very flimsy. I purchased it for around £650 when it first came out. The liner didn’t help either. Yes I love my medium college and medium sunset xx

Is the sunset exceptionally heavy? I keep hearing about people sending it back due to weight.

Hmmm I wouldn't say that it is, but when you get to the medium / large sizes, I wouldn't want to carry it around all day. But that goes for most bags of that size, Louis Vuitton, Chanel etc. I'm happy to wear my sunset crossbody for 2-3 hours. I use it more as an evening bag so the weight isn't an issue
