A huge issue with the college is that the shoulder strap is attached to the flap, so every time you open the bag it will start to flop weirdly. In the loulou and cassandra the strap is attached to the bag itself, so you can open and close the bag comfortably even when wearing it.

Great comparison. I definitely prefer the College based on this comparison. I love the profile, top handle, and the sleekness of the chevron quilting. It has plenty of room as I've become more of a minimal carry girl. I do like the loulou as well but prefer the college. TFS!!

I just exchanged the medium college in Gray for a medium Loulou bag in a nude powder colour :-)… I was also torn between the envelope bag too but in the end Lou Lou won:) I love the buttery feel of the leather on the Lou Lou:) and having the p.m. in reverse the college is very similar to that so the college is still definitely on the list for the future... great comparison 💕

I have both, but my Collège is the large. Not a whole lot bigger than the small LouLou actually, but has a better interior than the LouLou. I really miss the slit pocket at the back on the LouLou and the chain is in the way on the inside. It would otherwise have been a perfect bag😉
