ProTip for #1 - Have the opening of your pocket toward the spine, not the open edge of the journal. That way if stuff shifts around loosely, it will still be secure in your journal and won't be at risk for falling out.

Mai2727 Such good advice! I’m doing a bujo and will keep it minimal and when I have time (if I have time) I’ll doodle in it. I started journaling last year, and for the first three months I used crazy colors and themes. Now I keep it black and white except for my color coding. So much easier than the pretty ones

Custom it so you only need to do what you want to. You can make it as minimalistic or inconsistent as you want. Not keeping up with it is a sign that u are not using the perfect things for u. Change up some spreads or try new ones. Sometimes even changing the layout is enough
@elainelouve5 жыл бұрын
@@moonchild-uu4ty good advise!:) I have a separate calendar for using as a planner (it's diy on a sketchbook, because I couldn't find one that would suit my needs). My bullet journal is for trackers and certain notes + goals, and mostly my trackers are just boxes I can color in whenever I've done the thing. My walking tracker looks like a board game. Using lots of colors makes me happy, so I try to use them in my journal to make using it more fun.

My favorite thing to do is have a "self indulgence" page. I write down one simple thing (that I regard to as a simple luxury) for each day of the month. I write them on separate bits of paper and draw one from an envelope or pocket every day. It's small, inexpensive things like, paint your nails, buy some chocolate, find a new series to watch, have a cup of tea, etc. They're things that I love that are not a part of my normal routine. I also always make one that's super indulgent like a shopping spree. It's a little reminder to be mindful, and appreciate the little things.
