The shelves on each side of my fireplace are the bane of my existence. I change them around once a year and it takes me all day. 😂 In my next home, I do not want bookshelves flanking my fireplace. Too much stuff to dust.

Declutter too even if it is a little each week. I'm going to paint my doors and window trim black until I replace all my windows. They are wood now and horribly warped since the 70's when my house was built. I also want to spray paint the door knobs a dark pewter metallic. They are the cheap 70's worn out brass color now. 😊

Another no-cost easy one is to move art/pictures from wall to wall or room to room. Problem with throw pillows can be that the colors in one room might be totally incompatible with another!
