Your channel came up when I was searching for the BWCAW and so glad it did. Looks like a great trip even though the weather wasn’t the greatest at times. Good advice to slow down and enjoy the moment regardless of conditions!! I actually have a permit reservation for this July for that same entry point. Looking forward to it. Stay safe out there!! Been going in the BW in may for 26 years. Lots of fun. My friends dad told us when we were 12. There are only 2 rules up here, never get in the canoe without a life vest on and do what I tell you. I just told my oldest son that last may on his first trip. That cold water will get you into trouble fast.
