You could just eat animal foods which contain way more butyrate than your gut will ever produce. I don’t get this fascination with the part of your digestive system that does the least digesting and that was shrunk in humans to counter the energy required for larger brains. Fermenting fibre is fine when you cannot get fat and protein otherwise it’s not even required.

The key takeaways are: 1. **Holistic Approach to Colon Health**: Delauer emphasizes that colon health is not just about consuming high fiber but also involves proper hydration, phytochemicals, and nutrients that specifically fuel colon cells. 2. **Importance of Hydration**: Water is crucial for colon health as it aids in waste clearance and overall digestive efficiency. 3. **Beneficial Fruits**: Certain fruits like apples, pears, apricots, prunes, and plums are highlighted for their sorbitol content, which helps draw water into the colon, aiding in hydration and waste movement. 4. **Avocado for Hydration**: Avocado is rich in hydrophilic compounds and sorbitol, making it beneficial for colon hydration. 5. **Broccoli's Unique Benefits**: Broccoli aids in increasing microbial diversity and butyrate-producing bacteria in the gut, which fuels colon cells and reduces inflammation. 6. **Berries and Colon Health**: Berries contain phytochemicals that may reduce inflammation and oxidative stress in the colon. 7. **Chia Seeds' Impact on Gut Microbiome**: The mucilage from chia seeds positively affects the gut microbiome, contributing to colon health. 8. **Role of Probiotics**: Supplemental probiotics, like Seed, can support colon health by introducing beneficial bacteria and prebiotics. 9. **Kimchi's Prebiotic Properties**: Kimchi may benefit gut health due to its prebiotic components and fermented nature. 10. **Fermented Drinks for Gut Health**: Water kefir and kefir are effective probiotics that support colon health. 11. **Apple Cider Vinegar for Digestion**: It aids in digestion and may introduce beneficial bacteria and enzymes to the gut. 12. **Lemon Juice for Colon Cleansing**: High in vitamin C, lemon juice may help in clearing the colon. 13. **Green Bananas as Resistant Starch**: They feed good bacteria in the gut, increase butyrate production, and can reduce inflammation in conditions like IBS. 14. **Buckwheat's Benefits**: As a gluten-free pseudo-cereal, buckwheat is less inflammatory and contains beneficial resistant starch.

So few months after Covid-19 hit Japan people here were very worry and interested in having a strong inmune system, even when we are already healthy. Professionals in this subject came up in national television talking about how KIMCHI is the real deal when it comes to healthy gut and intestines even better than our famous “Meiji R-1” yogurt. The main reason it’s because Kimchi bacteria doesn’t only stay in your gut but goes all the way down unlike the yogurt bacteria. All this leads to a very strong inmune system which I proved it myself after eating kimchi everyday for the past 3 years. “Kimchi is the real deal” 💪

@@stevem9766 making your own would likely yield a better probiotic effect. It is not complicated and there are plenty of videos on youtube. Though start small because if dysbiosis is present, the bacteria in fermented foods can interact with the pathogenic bacteria in the gut and cause unpleasant symptoms. Better to reduce pathogenic overgrowth or infections first through anti-microbials/anti-fungals, then reseed the gut. Also, gut dysbiosis (bacterial imbalance/yeast overgrowth) over a long period of time can lead to gut inflammation. Longstanding inflammation leads to degradation of the gut lining and causes food and bacterial products to "leak" into the bloodstream. Gut inflammation and food/endotoxins entering the bloodstream antagonize the liver (which produces bile). A liver that is overburdened will struggle to create bile. The purpose of bile is to breakdown fats, lubricate the digested food matter, and regulate/kill off potential pathogens in the food we consume (bacteria/parasites). Without sufficient bile, this leads to bile stagnation (causing things like undigested food, gas & bloating, potential constipation, gallbladder pain/stones, mood irregularity, sleep disturbances, skin conditions, etc.). Things to consider: - What is causing the dysbiosis? Poor sleep, poor diet, stress, medications, disregulated circadian rhythm/lack of sunlight, parasite infections, heavy metal toxicity/exposure, etc.. Bacteria/yeast/parasites can sometimes be detected through stool tests. The metals through Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis or urine tests (urine & stool tests only shows what you are currently excreting however, and thus aren't 100% accurate). - What can be taken to support a more balanced microbiome? Anti-microbials potentially to first destroy bad bacteria, yeasts or parasitic infections for 2-4 weeks or so (potentially longer for parasitic infections), then followed by initially small but increasing doses of probiotics or probiotic rich foods such as kimchi/sauerkraut/Beet Kvass/ Raw kefir (if you tolerate dairy) to reseed the gut. What can be used to support digestion during mealtime in the meantime? - Digestive enzymes / Pancreatin: for pancreatic enzyme support to breakdown carbs/proteins/and some fats - Hydrochloric acid (HCL): for stomach acid support (which sufficient stomach acid can help stimulate bile production as well). To support food breakdown in the stomach and to help destroy bacteria/parasites in ingested food. - Ox bile or TUDCA: to further support the breakdown of fats, regulate the intestinal biome, and support the liver - Herbal bowel stimulants: to support bowel movements (taken either before bed or first thing in the morning) and not to be used long-term. Bowel movements being necessary to reduce dysbiosis that occurs when the gut becomes sluggish All of this can be further researched here on youtube or elsewhere online And no supplement can out-supplement an extremely disregulated lifestyle. Thus sleep, nutrition, easy & frequent movement (walks in nature as an example), and sun are high leverage tools to address any physical imbalances that present themselves in the body. *not medical advice*

Ayran = Yogurt + water. Nothing special.
@ApostolosKatsioulas
@ApostolosKatsioulas 10 ай бұрын
@@babekasadli In Greece we call it ξινόγαλο which translates to sour milk. It's not made by combining yoghurt and water. Sour milk is traditionally made in the process of making butter from milk. During this process, the natural skimming of milk occurs, a process that takes at least 12 hours. The result is also called buttermilk and to this they add the milky liquid collected from the process of cleaning the butter. The mixture is stirred well and kept in the refrigerator for 5-6 days. It's not buttermilk since its consistency isn't as thick as buttermilk; it is actually lighter than milk.

@@babekasadli Ok thanks for letting me know. Sour milk though in Greece isn't made like that, I just wanted to state its similarity to kefir; nutrition wise even if I could you nutrition data labels, they are almost identical. Pretty curious how the writing and pronunciation of the word "broccoli" is the same as here in Italy. About buckwheat: I make my home made "piadina" (flat bread) to eat as bread or wrap or burritos . In order to make them I add psilyum (otherwise is impossibile to roll out because of gluten absence). Psilyum should be tested personally because just as it could help the gut in some cases, it could instead make some situations worse.

I get it every so often. Get empty gel caps '000' and put 5 drops oregano oil and 8 to 10 drops grapefruit seed extract. Close up cap and drink with 8 Oz. Water. Do that two to three times a day for usually 4 to 5 days.

It’s not owned by Bill Gates…. This rumor is out of control. I know the owners and investment group very well. Katy has had a minority stake for years. Please don’t spread the misinformation.
