Were you carry all your luggage with you during the layover ?

No. My luggage reached directly to the destination, but if you have carry on luggage, then you need to carry it. I just carried a laptop bag, but nothing else, so traveling was easier for me

We are travelling from India to Bali Indonesia in September, so while returning back from Bali to India we have 21hrs of layovers to Malaysia on KL Airport. We have same PNR from India to Bali and Bali to India back. We are thinking of exploring Malaysia so Do we have to fill MDAC form within 3 days to arrive Malaysia? Any other document required? Any Income related document required? Since we have same PNR and so do we have to collect baggage as well while going out from the airport?

@sumitkharche5508 Sumit for your baggage, it was mentioned on your tickets whether you will collect on destination country or for layover country as well. Mine was booked for Auckland to Malaysia to Delhi & luggage to be collected at Delhi Airport only. Moreover I didn't carry much hand carry bag it was just laptop bag. For MDAC, yes, you need to fill out the form. Once you fill out the form, you will get an email to show that email at immigration. No, you do not need to show any income proof

@@PSAucklandwale Thank you so much for info. I am having 21hr layover on KL airport so do I need to do hotel booking for going out or I can put airport as you said while filling the form. I am going to reach on KL airport on 8th set late night and next flight is on 9th sept at evening. Can we still go out of airport to explore without hotel booking?

Did you filled MDAC form ? Is it necessary? And if yes what did you mentioned in “Accommodation of Stay” ? And “Address (in malaysia)” ??

@satyajeetjadeja6459 yess you need to fill form & put airport address in accommodation as it's mandatory to fill. I put airport address coz I didn't book any accommodation & I was dere for 11 hrs only.

@satyajeetjadeja6459 yes.. Google the Kl international airport address as dere are 2 airport in KL old & new. Put that in form & you are good to go. Have fun dear you are going to enjoy those 12 hrs. It's a beautiful country. Souvenirs are cheap in Batu Caves if you are planning to buy any & food too quite cheap at Batu Caves

Haanji apko form bharna padega. Free of charge hai vo, directly immigration me jaa k muje pta nhe stamp lag skti hai ya nhe coz meri email check ki the unhone. Easy hai form bharna aap online jaa k bhaar lo

Hi Preeti! I need your suggestion, I am travelling Delhi to Auckland, I have 14 hours layover in kuala lumpur and I planning to going Batu Caves, Twin Tower, Aquarium KLCC and Bukit bintang crossing. My flight arrive in kuala lumpur around 7am and my flight will take off 9pm Can you please suggest me what should I do on time? How can I manage that plan.

Hi Ajay I had 11 hours & I covered Batu Caves, twin tower & KL tower. You can cover KLCC Aquarium as well in 14 hours, but I dnt have any idea how much time it will take for Bukit Bintang. Batu Caves is around 1 hr away from international airport, but everything else is nearby. Go to Batu Caves 1st & then cover rest. My flight too landed around 7 but it was Sunday so dere was no traffic. And please reach back to airport around 2 3 hours back as immigration would be very busy. I hope it helps, if you need any other help please let me know

Dear Di I have 13 hours of layover in Kualalampur so..... what should I do for internet connectivity whether I'll have to take a local sim or activate roaming in Jio by take 1 day plan of rs. 500 approx.. (will it good or not^ 500 roaming plan of jio) 2nd query- Could i cover Batu Caves and Patreon Tower both the places by bus or train in 10 hours. 3rd query- is public toilet with bathing facility just like here in Delhi available in Kualalampur or hotels at per hours charge bases. ♤ Are bathing facilities available at the airport ? and is there any charge for it ? Hi Pratiksha I went from NZ to Malaysia, so I used roaming instead of buying a local Sim. Internet was amazing. I didn't have any issues. You can cover Batu Caves & other places by bus or train. I used a cab because I was not sure how much time it would take in public transport & I didn't want to take risks as I was traveling alone. I guess they must have facilities at the airport for bathing but I didn't use that either. I guess you have the option to keep your belongings in locker, but I didn't use it either because I just had laptop bag with me.

I just converted 200Nz $, and it was more than enough to cover everything like cab cost and visiting pass, I had breakfast at batu Caves. I used cash for basically everything but still had around 280 ringgit.

@ayushgarg45 I converted at Malaysia airport because currency exchange was closed at Auckland airport. I didn't try to pay by card. I just used cash, so I'm not sure whether they accept card payment
