Dear Viewers SMALL CORRECTION IN THE EXPLANATION at TimeStamp : 12:55 if multiple increment and decrement operations were listed in single printf then the execution will be COMPILER DEPENDENT but not evaluated from Left to Right or Right to Left. There is small mistake in the explanation as i said it will be executed from Left to Right or Right to Left. I am extremely sorry for that and pls make a correction.

Sir increment and decrement operator's output is not a same output. Deferent compiler is deferant output. Please explain this it is a very complicated.

hi tamal execution of increment and decrement operators will not give same output every time as they are compiler dependent. You will get thiss only if they are implemented in output statement. Hope your doubt has been clarified.

The statement printf("%d %d",i,i++) gives output 1,0 if I initialise i=0,and is indeed working from right to left but the statement printf("%d %d",i++,i) gives output 0,1 if I initialise i=0 and now is working left to right??so what is the general rule of thumb??it seems that no matter how you write the i++ command seems to be executed first,please clear this doubt

Hi nithin The order of execution for increment and decrement operator is compiler dependent so we can't predict the exact output.

Good tutorial but the last portion of video(Order of execution) is not fully explained. Some compilers execute from right to left and other compilers execute from left to right. That's why if you compile the programs shown at last on your machine, you will get different results. When I ran the programs, they got executed from left to right, so I will prefer this order of execution in exams. Furthermore, always avoid using multiple increment and decrement operators in a single Printf statement.
