Those cheap, open heating element space heaters are especially dangerous. Clothing can get into the heating element and combust. I only use a tower ceramic heater for extra heat as they are a little safer. I never use mine at night while asleep nor run one in a room without being present.

Not everyone have a fire place, so some have to use the space heater all night but as long as they use it in a safe way cool
