11 Mana CHARGE Minion??? Fun and Interactive Death Beetle OTK!

Leeroy Jenkins created a strategy that revolved around trying to defeat your opponent in one turn without requiring any cards on the board. Fighting for board control and battles between minions make an overall game of Hearthstone more fun and compelling, but taking 20+ damage in one turn is not particularly fun or interactive.

Many of the newer cards are just dumb. Eating minions from the hand, deck etc. destroys many fun OTKs. Guff is dumb, Denathrius is dumb, Tickatus is dumb, Objection is dumb, Mailbox dancer is dumb etc. it's too long of a list to type it all out.

I’d say Force of Nature Savage Roar combo (or innervate/coin double savage) was way worse than Leroy. Leroy was only really annoying if he was used by a hunter because then you couldn’t play around hounds (because whelps).

Usually Mark's combos are torturous, byzantine abominations that require edge case interactions and phenomenal luck. This is just like... "Play these cards Blizzard printed in the same set."

The thing is you only get the manathirst with guff anyway, so you already play both cards in the same deck, only add a battlemaster and you can just randomly deal 20 damage from hand at the very least. That’s not even much of a combo and doesn’t require much deckwarping at all

And when Guff rotates, it will either be a 6 mana 6/6 with taunt or blizzard prints other ways to get over 10 mana

For extra silliness, add in Oracle of Elune. You can put her down, then double beetle, then double battlemaster between the beetles, then a third beetle (who won't be doubled, no space) in between the battlmasters. Is 60 damage excessive? Yes. Is it hilarious when it works? Also, Yes.

If this works, you can get the fourth beetle at 20 mana by using Naturalize on Thaddius then either Twig/Sphere shenanigans or two innervates.

You can draw Thaddius more consistently... unsure it's name but there's a Druid card that draw your lowest or highest cost card. As long as Thaddius Is the only 10 mana card, you'll always get it

13:00 you could have bumped x4 flippers into the 1/1 imps then bumped the seedsman into the 1/3 and you'll end up with a 3/1 seedsman and x2 flippers instead of only the seedsman.

my version of beetles OTK: use bonelord to get free thaddius on 11+ mana, place him on even polarity for free, place two killer beatles, place nadox and destroy your thaddius. 42 damage in face. also works if you have 13 mana and thaddius on odd polarity.

Combo idea: boar shaman (Wild) Kill boars and get the weapon (the new cold storage helps, mabye reincarnate too) Then play the legendary that gives windfury to your hero and kill the opponent

The flavour text for Death Beetle says "Well this will be useless next expansion *WINK WINK*", so I'm pretty sure they're going to print a new way to reach 11 mana. Either that or the Alterac hero cards are entering the core set :(

My worry with the Death Beetle for a rather overlooked reason... Wildheart Guff will rotate next year but Death Beetle won't - this likely means a max mana increasing card for druid will be in a future set either this year, the first set of next year, or next years standard base set will have Wildheart Guff

lol it's useless, worst meta for druid. Every deck is combo related, you can't do shit until u have needed pieces. Played 5 games with this deck and lost them all without a chance to win. Had better chances to win with malygos druid vs midrange/agro shaman with 4 mana 7/7 back in a days, than with any druid deck today.

Maybe I'm just washed up, but It's more like Druid shuts down any strategy that isn't a combo deck, thus everyone plays combo decks that kills the Druid, and then the decks that beat the combo decks lose to Druids, so they stick around preying on every deck that isn't combo. It's rock paper scissors, you win or lose the game before it even starts based purely on the matchup. The only "skill" required is that you understand the basic fundamentals of the game, the order you need to play your cards in on curve, and what cards you should keep in your opener to maximize your chances to win, which are all things you don't even need to learn because you can have an algorithm do the work for you and tell you what cards are best kept in the opener against certain classes, and Blizzard likes to print cards that create decks and play themselves these days, if it's yellow and spends your mana efficiently on that turn, then you should probably play it now rather than later. This only seems to become more prevalent as time passes, and it's not exclusive to Druid, every class in the game has these issues but nothing is being done about it because in the short term, it makes Blizzard a lot of money for the game to be unbalanced and flawed, because people want to play the best decks and some of them will pay a lot of money to do so.

Beside the garbage rank that you are playing at , this deck is useless...In the current meta anything that requires more than 6 rounds is dead...Any deathknight will beat you to a pulp by turn 6, any blood dk will destroy your combo, anything that is current meta will pee on your deck easy as that..I gave it a go, at rank 1 diamond...Lost 45 matches and won 3, either my draw was garbage 42 matches or your decks sucks. Cuz there is no "you don't know how to play" in a deck that just draws until it has the combo.
