Just got our modular kitchen done and can so relate to each and every point! Mine is white too and really classy. Another point to keep in mind is over the counter cabinets that can sometimes be risky while deep in work. You run the risk of banging your head while deep in work!!
@mrudulamohana2 жыл бұрын
So agree with this. I am short so I never have problems but as I my husband is tall, i have made it a point to not fall into the habit of leaving the doors ajar while cooking. But yes banging directly on the cabinets is a big risk.
@shunyabinduinteriors2 жыл бұрын
overhead cabinets as a rule are supposed to be only 12 inches deep,so when the shutters are opened its almost 24" it will align with the edge of the cooktop/granite counter,so the banging of head issues can be resolved. tq

Sink pipe should be inserted to wall below instead of floor. This will give you a drawer area to keep cookers etc. Also remain clean n no pests. Always your left side shelf next to chimney should have masalas n right side for tea, coffee n tang. No points very close to the gas. Tall unit very good for your crockery as easy to remove day to day than top shelf.

Great one, few more pointer which I learned, the stylish drawer handles which are integrated in drawer with sharp edges tend to tear clothes. Also the height of drawer should be planned so that you can keep ur containers. So ideally it should be the other way plan your cutlery, containers and measure max height then select drawers.

Great content from you as always! I am actually struggling with something in my kitchen. What solution should one look at for undercounter drawers/cupboard opening mechanism? I got these high quality handles that all tend to discolor/gather rust spots when water spills from the counter top. This is especially true for the undersink cabinet handles. Do the strip kind (is it that free aluminum btw) that you gave in your kitchen wotk better?

One tends to understand the problems only after you start living. I am planning for a modular kitchen so I am going handle less but to help you i have seen in one of homi mommy's video where she has some vaccum barrier which she has attached in front of the sink & water doesn't wet your clothes too. She is a Korean blogger. I haven't looked for it on Amazon but that looked very easy to manage at the moment. Hope this helps.

One issue that no KZbinr, no interior designer ever considered is how to design the kitchen with innovative elements which would avoid issue of Cockroaches with very easy daily regime. Using the insecticides is not completely effective. The places where cockroaches hide are ample in every design and that’s exactly the issue. I had made personal design keeping this in mind but interior designers are not used / well versed to implement by design and unless they make customisations the shelves are going to shake and loosen up over time if constructed in my customised design. I am stuck with this for weeks on how to proceed.
@HomeGardeningMadeEasy_ Жыл бұрын
Exactly an issue with me !
@Vidyasagarbb Жыл бұрын
@@HomeGardeningMadeEasy_ I have finally decided to go for kitchen with complete granite construction. Then going for HDHMR doors to it And then filling all the minute gaps completely with silicon to ensure there are no places for cockroach to hide. The best thing to avoid cockroaches is to not touch kitchen platform to wall but keep 6 inches gap and it’s possible with granite kitchen. No cement involved just constructing with granites. All Rajasthani workers know how to build it and then use the gap of 6 inches between wall and kitchen platform to apply hit everyday before night so ensure cockroaches don’t even enter the kitchen wardrobes. I have added many such components like movable kitchen wardrobes with wheels etc. I developed Special design and getting it done right now. Hopefully I will be successful in this effort so I don’t have to suffer with cockroaches nor I have to murder them everyday🫣
