It’s not ph reactive its heat sensitive. It didn’t work because either your base was silicone based or water based and the blush was the opposite, you cannot mix chemicals that don’t work with each other.
@mizzdiiva92

Well the blush advertises as ph reactive. Those kind of blushes are just trendy tbh.

Hey buddy. For future reference, with love (cause I've rolled around mispronouncing words for like, a decade before someone corrected me, and I was so embarrassed. Even though, mispronunciation only shows others that you read, and take chances with your speech . Still ...) The B is silent in Bdellium. It's just pronounced "Dellium". I think? Lol I didn't Google first, so everyone please feel free to roast me if I'm wrong! It's the way I've always heard it pronounced. On a different topic, I've fully considered getting AF's Scream Of Consciousness* (the orange Matte Fluid Eye Paint) [*edit: Spectre. Not SOC. I'm a tool.] several times. I had NO IDEA they had sheer shades, and that this was one of them!! That's so cool!! The only reason I haven't gotten it yet is because I've got the colours to mix my own orange, but now I don't have an excuse not to buy it! It's actually dumb. I've got a bunch of colours I haven't even taken out of the packaging yet. I have this weird thing about opening liquid and cream products. As soon as you crack that seal, the clock is ticking. So, I've got at least 4 unopened, unswatched MFEPs sitting lined up all pretty in a makeup bag in my As Yet Virginal Products drawer. Because I'm a weirdo. Lastly! Has anyone tried both Benefit's Doctor Feelgood balm AND Danessa's Yummy skin balm-powder? Watching you applying, it looks like they'd be similar, at least the "universal" shade of the latter. Yes, I have an ancient tin of the former. IDK if they even make it anymore? I've always been one of those "scrape the product out with a clean tool, deposit on clean surface, and apply from there" person, even when using my own personal stash. Beauty Pro training dies hard. In doing this, as long as your spatulas/scoopy tools are clean, you can make products last far longer than their use-by dates. Bacteria makes products go "off" faster, and you're keeping them as free from bacteria as humanly possible. A pro tip: even if your tools are clean, if they're sitting in the open, they will have bacteria on them. Keep a little bottle of isopropyl alcohol on your vanity: fill an old setting spray bottle/pump-top-dispenser/just the regular-assed bottle it came in. Pour a little iso onto a reusable cotton/bamboo round or cloth, or tissue, and wipe the business end of your product scoop before you use it. Wait 30 seconds for it to dry, then begin scooping up whatever you need, re-wiping the tool between products. You can also wipe down the nonporous surface of whatever you're using as your palette. Like, those metal or clear palettes you can get. I like using glazed ceramic plates, like those little soy sauce or wasabi/ginger plates you can get in Chinatown. Or antique saucers. Whatever, as long as it's nonporous. The alcohol evaporates superfast, leaving you with clean surfaces. You still have to wash your tools between uses, and for tools like tweezers, cuticle nippers, brow scissors and nail clippers, you still need to give them a 20 minute soak in Barbicide or 70% alcohol to kill off anything living on the surface. If you want to keep them sterile after that, stow them in a clean, airtight container. All the above rambling is why I'm so reluctant to jump on the cushion foundation train. It seems like a foundation-soaked sponge (that you don't wash between uses like you do with a blender) would be a fertile breeding ground for bacteria. Especially if you're dipping back and forth, with a puff, between your skin and the cushion. The midday SPF 50PA+++++ reapplication aspect is totally calling my name. However, that part could kind-of-easily be duped by using a clean puff to apply more SPF over your makeup during the day. Extra points if you went over the reapplied SPF with a bit of skin tint afterwards. Lately, I've been using a broad-spectrum SPF spray that I scored from yesstyle. IDK the name, it's all in Korean. It's totally travel-sized, and as long as you fan your face dry and don't touch anything while it's wet, it doesn't mess with your existing base makeup too badly.
