I’m going to start investigating the installation of plugins from a script. I have a testing server I regularly wipe. It would be nice to either use a script, terminal or install multiple plugins at a time from the GUI

Maybe try another animated icon. I have not had that issue on any of them that I have set up. I have used the Yellow and the Orange collections. Hey there. Overall, your videos helped a ton with setting UnRaid as a first-time NAS user. Question because I can not find this anywhere else. After creating a folder for the FolderView plugin, the `add folder` button disappears. I found a world around by just making a JSON and uploading it, but that's a bit of a nuisance. Would you have including what what on? Thanks a ton for all the help already! *edit* - spelling

Thanks for the letting me know. I just tested adding a folder on both of my Unraid servers and they both continue to show the "Add Folder" button. I would make sure everything is updated and if you continue to have the issue I would go here: forums.unraid.net/topic/142782-plugin-folderview/ and ask for help.

Hi, i'm rewatching all your videos as i've just built a server and am setting up unraid. Random minor problem I've encountered when installing Disc Location, it doesn't display under Settings. I can still get to it via installed apps and configure it, just seems a bit odd that it's not showing under the Settings tab. Have you seen anything like that before?

I just took a look at mine, and it's not there either. You can get to it from the Unraid Dashboard tab. Find it on the dashboard and then click on the little gear icon...

I need one to be able to edit the HTML or XML files in docker containers to set up my website pages, I find it hard to believe thats not a built in thing because it should be a common reason someone makes an Unraid server, website hosting/media server ..etc.. But thanks for the list, added some and some I had already.

Most times the files that need to be edited are contained within the appdata share. You would browse to that share and use an editor on your pc to edit the file. I have done that with several of my containers but NextCloud is probably the one that I done that the most with. Glad you enjoyed the list and found some new things.

How do you get that window when you click on docker icon with all the stat's at 04:25 I just get a menu. Great video lots of useful info

@hazard1176 Edit the Folder group (Click on the Folders Name), about halfway done you will find "Preview Context" Use the dropdown dialog and select "Advanced", then set Activation Mode: to Click, and Graph mode: to Combined. Hope that helps.

As of build 2024.02.23, the Disk Location plugin has been moved from Settings to Tools. Thought anyone installing might like to know, instead of clicking settings refresh 10000x hoping it would appear. Everything else appears the same.

The thing I dislike about folderview is it doesn't expand to have more rows if you have more than 5 containers per group. (Im aware of the dropdown to expand but that's not what I want)

That's understandable, however it depends on the size and resolution of your monitor. The bigger it is the more it can display. I believe mine shows 7 per group. I do have one that group is cut off and another that I created two groups for so that I could see them all without expanding. It is not ideal but I'll take it over having a large, unorganized group that I have to search through. If I find something better I will do a video and post it.

I am loving a TON of your content. But I am finding it frustrating that i'm following instructions which have me creating folders for dockers which we have not even been instructed to install yet... so it's segmented instructions... which for people like me (with horrible ADHD, it is distracting within itself to be frustrated and confusing, which is why we are trying to follow along with videos to begin with, because text based instruction is nearly impossible to absorb). Sorry for venting... it's just frustrating and confusing is all.
