starsand island looks so gorgeous, i'm so devastated to see all the red flags. i really hope the copyrighted material is removed and it ends up proving us all wrong because it's so beautiful and the building and decorating looks incredible. i really love the snippets of the world shown, it looks like it was made to cater to me specifically 😭

As an Austrian who is very much into folklore and myths I am a bit confused, because austrian folklore is mostly based on particular people, we have some stories about mythical creatures but not that many and majority just speaks of faries in general. Also quite a lot of these mythical creatures are malevolent like krampus, the lindwurm, berchten sooo I have no idea what they're cooking for Kindred Vale.

Ngl the art style for Sandstar Island is beautiful, maybe a bit too saturated in terms of lighting, but that shot of the pond with the lilypads is so pretty. They seem to be kind of emulating Genshin Impact's look and honestly, despite me still wishing we got more farming games with the Doraemon SoS' GORGEOUS watercolor style, I quite like this too for farming games! Hope other games, hopefully future SoS games and remakes, pick up this style. Or PLEASE just bring back the Doraemon SoS' watercolor style

I love how you keep us up to date on new announcements/early access stuff! I wonder though, whether you might be willing to do a video on recent full releases? I generally prefer to wait until the game is officially finished and released (unless its one I've been supporting) and I honestly keep losing track of what's Early Access and what's fully out.

Josh, there can never EVER be too many open world survival crafting farming management games! Those games are combining my favorite genres, so I will always be happy to see more of them 😂 More options means more variety and more fun haha~ Not sure about Among the Wild though, because even though the trailer looks well-made, it looks quite simple. And the mount looks a bit ugly.. I want a cuter mount 😂

I'm from Austria and Kindred Vale will get my money on full release if the game is at least a 6/10 (so at least an enjoyable game) I heard Austrian lore and I was like if they have a Raurackl/Wolpertinger I'm in 😂 I love this creature so much, it's so hilariously stupid 😂 however it feels more like general European Alps myths than Austrian. One of the spirits mentioned on steam is from Slovenia for example! I'll definitely keep my eyes on this! ❤

I'm super interested in Super Farming Boy! I loved the demo, absolutely can't wait to try out the full game with more content! I'm also excited for Farmagia too! Rave Master was one of the first manga I've ever read, and I also enjoyed Fairy Tail. I was genuinely surprised when I heard the author was going to be a part of a farming game! Commenting on Sand star Island, Fun fact: copyright law only applies to and is enforced in a few major developed countries. Most of the world does not have or bothers to uphold copyright, including China, Russia, South America, most countries in Africa, and even smaller countries, etc. So the copyright material would be a no go on Steam, but if that was released in China they probably could get away with it.

We downloaded one of the older farming simulator games for ps4 for my daughter. She just wanted to ride the horses, but I was surprised at how fun it actually was. Also.. I would love to see the gameplay of the Polly Pocket like one. If it just involves cranking the handle over and over again, I'm not sure how fun it will be but it looks so cute!

I've played Garden of the Sea and it's cute and worth the inexpensive price for what was a relatively early vr game, but I also worry how it'll translate into a non-vr game. I think something like Raccoon Lagoon would be a better game to move from vr to pc, but maybe GoTS will surprise me. GoTS isn't bad, but I don't think the game mechanics are particularly in depth enough to spend long periods of time in the game. That worked for me with vr because I can only play so long before it starts to give me a headache, but I worry I'll get pretty bored fast for non-vr. We shall see.

The only one of these that strikes my interest here is Farmagia. I love SOS and RF, and this looks so fresh and fun! Never heard of the one manga/anime but I have heard of Fairy Tale; I think it's pretty big, so sounds like they did good hiring the guy.

Tho we do have a realistic rice farming game called Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin. I should definitely play more of that game. Definitely doesn't look as complicated with the machinery doing all the spacing for us.

am I the only one who's disappointed with how farmagia looks? I think the graphics looks too rough and very unpleasing to the eye. I wish marvelous focuses more on developing the harvest moon remake or new story of seasons or new rune factory, rather than releasing a game that looks like that..

Tiny Garden too because I know that game was made in Godot Engine. It gives me hope that I could also make a game cute like that someday since I am familiar with the engine
