Hi Diana. I dont see the gradients on my canva, I have a pro version. Not sure why dont show. Any help you can advise?

In the Editor, you can find Gradients by following these steps: 1/ Click on the color tile above the editor. The color tiles will vary depending on how many elements you've selected. 2/ Scroll to the Default colors section to use pre-set gradients. 3/ To create a custom gradient, double-click a color or select the Plus icon, then choose Gradient.

Hi, Could you explain the purpose of a grid/frame in a background than not having one please?

You can snap your image as the background, but then it's more difficult to remove, or move around than if it was in a frame or grid.

There is one. Under "Elements", "Graphics" search for "Gradient that fades to transparency". It looks purple and transparent on the other side.
