The SVG download saved me a bunch of time yesterday, found an illustration and was able to download a full SVG version of it, all layers were separate too! I had originally tried a high res PNG and tried to trace it in illustrator but took too much time. This was a real time saver.

I've used the Desktop apps forever. Just find I get better performance overall. However, the desktop app DOES NOT allow screen recording when in the Studio like you can when using the web app. I've sent this as a suggestion several times now, but never had any response. CANVA PEOPLE, just make it happen for the desktop app. My faculty and student will love it.

Diana…..always nice and concise lessons. I’m wondering if there is a way to move a text 90 degrees to the left. It would have to begin at the bottom left side of the workspace..

Hi Carol, Click the text box you want to rotate. Click on Position on the toolbar above the editor. Under Rotate, enter the value (90) in the text box. Another way is to Click the text box you want to rotate, outside the border of your selected element or group, there’ll be a rotate handle. Click and drag it left or right to rotate. Hope this helps!

Hi Neha, We record the screen with Quicktime and our face with OBS, we then edit them with Premiere Pro so our face is small on the side

I think it helps for laptops that are not very powerful. Also, could help you be more focused as you aren't in a browser with more tabs opened. 🤓

I picked a picture template and tried to add my photo however it doesn't work the way you show me - I dragged my picture and it doesn't fill the frame, just shows up as a picture covering up the profile picture.

Most of our transitions are made in Premiere Pro, so ... not in Canva unfortunately 😅

I would like to see some other shapes or elements where I could put my picture... I do everything on mobile and love it. Menus are a bit different, so use the in app help to ask for info if you get stuck.

What you describe doesn’t seem possible. I mean, your student could see them (if you embed the videos in your lectures), but not download them. If you want ten to be able to download content, you’ll need to host that content in a cloud somewhere and generate a link to the content that you can paste on a button or element in Canva.
