East Java is one of the most beautiful, diverse and breathtaking regions in Indonesia. I was lucky enough to travel around East Java all the way from Banyuwangi to Malang, checking out the regions best beaches, waterfalls, volcanos and deserted islands.

Feel free to come back to see the other 2/3 of East Java. We were at Coban Sewu ('c's are pronounced 'tj') waterfall 3 weeks ago today. They were no longer allowing anyone to go down to the bottom due to damage from the earthquake not long before that. I thought it funny that over 60s on the original sign were also not allowed to descend to the bottom. We are over 60.
