*I would like the most if Blake would return to the form of 2011 or 2012, but that is impossible, it has been 12 years since then. Now he is 34 years old, unfortunately, his best years have passed. But still, the second fastest man of all time in the 100 and 200 meters is no small thing. I may sound like a pessimist, but it would even be a surprise to me if Blake qualified for the Olympics*

Other than that single 9.85 run that he made back in 2022, his performances over the past few seasons has been unfortunately very poor. So I think it is being realistic to not expect too much from him. But of course I would love to see him return to his 2011/2012 form or at least close to it, and maybe even getting onto the podium in Paris which would be a great way to leave the sport.
